Recommended Cherry Blossom Spot in London, UK: Battersea Park
🇬🇧 London, UK
🌸 Battersea Park
If you are traveling to London between March and April, exploring the cherry blossom spots in London is a must. Among the many spring flower spots in London, my favorite cherry blossom spot is Battersea Park.
Battersea Park, which can be reached by crossing the Albert Bridge over the Thames from Chelsea, is a lesser-known cherry blossom spot in London for tourists. Since it is a park used by Londoners, there is no entrance fee or specific visiting hours, so you can visit freely and enjoy the view.
I visited Battersea Park to see the cherry blossoms on March 27, 2025. Although the full bloom period varies each year, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom at that time, and it was breathtakingly beautiful to see the cherry blossom petals fluttering in the wind.
One of the highlights of viewing the cherry blossoms in Battersea Park is watching the green birds eating the flowers among the cherry blossom trees. Perhaps their beautiful colors come from eating the flowers?
With cherry blossom trees lined up on both sides of the central flower path, walking through them makes you feel truly happy. If you are traveling to London from the end of March, be sure to visit Battersea Park, a cherry blossom spot in London. 💗
