#summerdestinations A relatively quiet and quaint city in Northern Italy 🇮🇹 . We just have 6 hours here so we spent it wandering around before we headed to Rome. We were very surprised to see so many cultural attractions and historic architectures. It is such a pretty city which makes us want to go back in the future. What to see if you have limited time here? 1. The Piazza Maggiore- it is located right in the middle of the city so you won’t really miss this place. Just follow the crowd and it will lead you here. 2. San Petronio- apparently this is the 10th largest church in the whole world. It is located in the center of Piazza Maggiore. 3. Archiginnasio- It is one of the most important buildings in Bologna where students learn anatomy. 4. La Piazzola Market- if you need anything and you don’t want to spend a lot then go this market. It is massive and it has got everything you could think of. Just wander around until you bump into amazing history of Bologna. Don’t forget to try their cafes. For 6 hours , we went to three .

This is an interesting building not typical of cathedrals! If you look closely, the top portion is not finished! Quick search indicates that it’s due to lack of funding many decades back during its construction phase - and hence the facade remain this condition ever since. Its overall areas also has a good vibes with the shopping belt just a stone throw away. Do visit to see it for yourself!
