Barbarian restaurant really takes you back in time with its extraordinary restaurant design. It looks as if you’re dining inside of a cave! I guess that’s where the clever restaurant name came from. I ordered the Lamb, Chicken, and Salmon Skewers with Roasted Potatoes and Basil Lemonade. Everything was delicious! It was so much food, easy to share with a friend. They have a few restaurant locations. This one was located near the W hotel near the Bund. Definitely recommend checking this place out! #shanghairestaurant #foodie #barbarian

I am a big fan of the food at Barbarian and the branch at White Magnolia Square is just amazing not because of the food but also the view you get. Sinar Mas Plaza is directly located at the metro station International Cruise Terminal (line 12). In the 3rd floor of the shell formed building there is the great restaurant Barbarian. Don't miss it when you visit this area.

Barbarian should be in your list of restaurants to try when you are staying in Shanghai. Location wise is quite convenient as it is in the city's down town so It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. This is a fantastic place to spend a couple of hours catching up with friends, having a drink and enjoying their signature Beef and chicken BBQ skewers. There is variety of wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks. It is a medium size restaurant with a nice atmosphere, service is good and the food is nicely presented. It's Christmas time to It's decorated beautifully 😍 you just want to stare and take pictures all the time. Don't even get me started on the food...it's to die for, the drinks, the food, all in all it's an epic experience. They've got different seating rooms and all are beautiful and cozy. Highlights - The decorations for Christmas 🎄 was just breathtaking 😍 they serve a good mulled wine 🍷 Avg. Address - Barbarian (Sinar Mas Plaza) Ambiance/Facilities - This is a bar/ restaurant that has that rustic look to it and the second location to open. The restaurant is very warm and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and are able to communicate well in English👍. Their menu is made in a magazine type of book which can be a bit overwhelming and distracting from actually focusing and finding what you want to order. The meat dishes are definitely number 1! You can never go wrong with the platter meal which has a variety of options in one plate and it is very filling 👌😋. They also have an extensive list of drink options. On weekends the place gets busy as the DJ gets the party started 💃🏽. Highlights - The succulent grilled meat and cocktails 😍👌😋 Avg.
