Summer Escape to Xiaohuangshan, Luotian, Thin Blade Peak
Thin Blade Peak, originally named Hegao Peak, is located in Luotian County, Hubei Province, on the west side of the main peak of the Dabie Mountains, with an altitude of 1408.2 meters. The natural scenery within the area is famous for its peculiar pines, strange rocks, and dangerous peaks.

About 2.5 hours drive from Wuhan
. Drive to the halfway point (Visitor Center), free parking, then you can choose to take the shuttle bus up the mountain.
After reaching the top, descend from the left route, the scenery is beautiful all the way. The strange rocks are rugged and very distinctive.
The average temperature at the top is 20°C, very cool, and it can be a bit cold in cloudy weather, so you might want to wear an extra jacket.
Including some loop attractions, taking photos and viewing, the overall hike down takes about 2-3 hours.
The environment of the scenic area is fine, there are trash cans set up at intervals, but some stairs are relatively narrow and steep, so the elderly or children need to go slowly.
100 Main Attractions:
Wolonggang, located between the main peak and Xiguoding, at an altitude of 1350 meters, with a total length of 3000 meters, gathering more than 20 small attractions such as the Heavenly Ladder, Hero Pass, Beauty Pass, Emperor Pass, and Peacock Pine. It has been praised as "Wolonggang, the famous mountain in the world, with a view every three steps, sweat soaking the clothes".
2 Xiguoding, located on the ridge behind the scenic area management office, at an altitude of 1215 meters, composed of a huge white circular granite.
3 Emperor Bending, two large slabs about 100 square meters each, arching up to form a "person" shape. The stones are smooth and steep, with a natural passage about 120 centimeters high and 10 meters long underneath.
After climbing the mountain, you can taste local specialties, Luotian hanging pot, and nearby rafting.
