Bandikati was built at the end of the 12th century by Jayapatma VII. It is a Buddhist monastery, the central tower and the promenade have collapsed, and it is difficult to feel the previous layout. There are four concentric walls around it. The outer wall is 700 meters long and 500 meters wide. All four entrances feature a theme favored by Jayapatma VII: the head of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva with the divine bird Garuda hovering above it. The construction of the interior of the central tower was not completed, and many parts of the temple were almost in ruins due to the hasty construction. Compared with the nearby Tabulung Temple, it is very quiet and because of this, it is more worth visiting.
