2 days 1 night here in Ranong, a city you must not miss.
Ranong is a very peaceful tourist city in the South. It is a province that is nicknamed the city of eight rains and four suns.
The reason for this is that it is the province with the most rain in Thailand, with an average of 20 days of rain per month.
With this kind of weather, this province is still rich in forests and beautiful mountains, especially the first place before we check in to our accommodation today.
DAY1
- Let's start by stopping at the first check-in point, which is the main landmark of Ranong, which is Phu Khao Ya. It is a bald mountain with colors changing with the seasons, beautifully covered with grass.
During the rainy season, the entire mountain is covered with grass. During the dry season, it is golden yellow like a savannah grassland. This is one place that everyone who visits Ranong must not miss.
- After we visited the first highlight of Ranong, it was time to check in to our accommodation. This time, we stayed close to nature again, "Baan Nai Mong Tree House".
The atmosphere is so good that it can be said that there are many types of houses, surrounded by forests and streams where you can swim and cool down. We stayed in a group and chose to stay in the Ban Rabiang Fon style. This place gives a feeling like coming back to stay in a garden house.
Highly recommended for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city.
DAY2
- Start by waking up very early to quickly drive to Wat Ban Ngao. We will go up to the viewpoint to see the sea of mist. When we arrive at the temple, there will be a sign showing the way up to the viewpoint of Wat Ban Ngao. It is a short walk (a little out of breath).
But when we arrive, the view in front of us is worth it. It is very beautiful. We can see the mist as shown in the picture. It is worth waking up early.
- After enjoying the view until we are satisfied and our hearts are full, we prepare to check out. Then we secretly go down to play in the cold water. It is refreshing.
Let's continue. If you come to Ranong, you must come here. If you don't come, you haven't come.
"Raksa Warin Hot Spring" is a naturally occurring hot spring. There are 3 pools in total. In the picture I took for my friends to see, it is the father pool, and then the mother pool and the child pool. From the smoke in the picture, you can't go down to soak. It will definitely be hot. The temperature is 65 degrees. There is a pool where you can go down to soak. It is a place that you must not miss... another place on this trip.
After stopping by to visit for a while, we continued our journey to a beautiful photo spot, Ranong Canyon, an old mining valley created by mining with beautiful, clear water. You must stop by to see the atmosphere and take beautiful photos to upload to IG. I guarantee you will have plenty of stock.
And lastly, before heading back on this trip, we stopped for a cool refreshing drink before the long journey at Khun Lin Coffee Shop, a roadside coffee shop next to a stream. It allowed us to sip a drink and soak our feet in the cool water. It gave us the energy to drive for a long time.
For a great moment in Ranong, a city you must not miss. This time, it was a short trip of 2 days and 1 night. That's about it. For the next great moment, where will we go? Please follow and support me.
