In early April, only the winter jasmine was blooming on Bangchui Island

The temperature in Dalian was in the teens in early April, and there was heavy fog. Bangchui Island was very cold. Apart from the winter jasmine, I didn't see any other flowers, and the trees hadn't turned green yet. The seaside was even foggier, and the view from the mountaintop was obscured. This time is not suitable for visiting, and one must check the weather before going out. The Labor Day holiday in May should be the golden season, and I will come back then.

In between Dalian Beach and Tiger Beach lies the 500-meter-long (550 yards) Bangchui Beach, which is also called the Bangchuidao Lido. Because of the crystal clear water and great natural landscape, it’s regarded as one of the best lidos in Dalian City. The beach consists of a fine sand area and a pebble area. Visitors can walk barefoot in the former part, and search for interesting pebbles in the latter part.
