I haven’t been to Bali for a long time. When I lived in Luzhou, I would come here from time to time to stroll around and see the scenery. After returning to the south, I rarely have the opportunity to come here. Now we can see that Bali Zuo'an Park is very beautifully planned. In addition to the beautiful scenery of the sunset, there are also many installation arts on site. Not only is it good for taking photos, there are also dedicated bicycle lanes, and the overall feeling is very comfortable. On the other side of the river is Tamsui. Bali cannot compare with it in terms of volume, but I personally think that the environment of Zuo'an Park is much better than that of Tamsui Golden Waterfront. There are many tourists and citizens in Zuo'an Park on weekdays and holidays. Especially on holidays, the tourists coming to Bali often block the roads. Seize this rare holiday opportunity to visit scenic spots in Tamsui and Bali Zuo'an, recall every bit of the past and keep these beautiful memories in your heart forever. (20211112)

Starbucks in the lobby of Four Points by Sheraton Bali: MESH BAR
Address: No. 8, Guanhai Avenue, Bali District, New Taipei City
Atmosphere/Amenities: If you’re looking for a spacious, quiet, and elegant Starbucks, come to the Four Points by Sheraton Bali! There are not many people on weekdays, and the environment is very comfortable. Drinks start at NT80. For such a high-quality environment, the CP value is very high.
Features: When it first opened, it only had coffee. Now it has a lot more items. In addition to coffee (from NT80), there are also classic cocktails (from NT250), Western tea drinks (from NT220), Chinese tea drinks (from NT220), and non-alcoholic drinks. (from NT80), Taiwanese craft beer (from NT220), etc. I particularly recommend the "Selected Nitrogen" series, iced coffee and iced tea are both NT 150. After a few minutes of the Nitrogen Tea Shen Temple, it will become an upper and lower layer, a bit like frothed milk. It is not only visually beautiful, but also has a good taste and a beautiful cup shape. Sitting here sipping tea and coffee in the quiet afternoon is really full of happiness!
Price per person: Starting from NT80

The left bank of the Tamsui River full of Bali atmosphere: Bali Left Bank Park
Address: No. 36, Guanhai Avenue, Bali District, New Taipei City
Atmosphere/Facilities: I came to Bali to look for an apartment more than a decade ago, and I was amazed by the peaceful and relaxing riverside scenery - it was like Bali!
In recent years, the number of tourists has increased, and the area has become a popular destination for family entertainment during holidays. Many photo-taking spots have also been added, such as the Wedding Plaza, the Love Boat, and the Rainbow Trail. It has become a comfortable space suitable for couples as well as families to travel together.
Features: With the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Bali's tourism resources have been greatly improved, and there are many tourists during the summer holidays. A 5-minute walk will take you to Duchuantou Old Street. Recommended must-try food: Fuzhou Twins (NT15), Pickled Cabbage Buns (NT20)
To get to Balizuoan, you can take a ferry from Tamsui. The one-way ticket costs NT$34. Or take the Red 22 or Red 13 bus at Guandu MRT Station and get off at the "Ferry Head" stop.

Great atmosphere...Bali Beach, Taiwan
#TaiwanTravel
After returning from Tianyuan Temple, get off the bus at Tam Sui Railway Station, walk through the park and the Tam Sui River viewpoint, and you will find the Tamsui Ferryboat Wharf to the other side of the river.
The ferry fare is only a few dozen Taiwan dollars per person, and after about 15 minutes on the boat, you will arrive at Bali Ferryboat Wharf, Taiwan.
Although it is a mud beach like the mouth of a river in general, the landscape here has been beautifully renovated and is a great place for city people to relax.
There are photo spots, check-in spots, a riverside walkway, a garden, a lawn, a place to sit and sip coffee by the water, and a cool breeze to walk and relax. It's so relaxing.
If you want to do activities, there are bicycles for rent. If you are a foodie, there are seafood restaurants, snack shops, cafes, coffee shops, and ice cream shops to accommodate your every need.
I bought a box of Shushi and drinks from Tamsui Railway Station, so I sat down to enjoy the cool breeze, eat mixed rice balls, and delicious soju... You can have fun alone in the "going solo with a backpack and not going home" style.
This place is in New Taipei. Travel from Taipei Main Station by the red line to the end of the line. Then take a ferry across the river. It is on the same route as Beito, a famous hot spring resort in Taiwan.
I recommend a trip to Tianyuan Temple, Tamsui, and Beito in one day using the Red Line MRT.

Enjoy the sunset by the Tamsui River
The riverside of Tamsui in New Taipei is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Witness the sun slowly disappearing over the Tamsui River, accompanied by the scenic view of high-rise buildings and bustling shops on both sides—it's a breathtaking experience worth trying. (You can stay from the afternoon until evening to enjoy the night view!)
On one side of the Tamsui River is Tamsui Old Street, and on the other side is Bali Old Street, each offering a unique vibe. After enjoying the sunset and night view, you can explore these charming old streets.
For a more relaxing sunset experience, we recommend visiting the waterfront restaurant by the Tamsui River. Enjoy afternoon tea while admiring the stunning view outside the window—it's truly delightful!
🚂 Transportation: Take the Taipei Metro Tamsui-Xinyi Line to its terminal station, Tamsui, to reach the destination.
You can also take a ferry ⛴️ to Bali Left Bank on the opposite side for a leisurely stroll!

Bali Left Bank Half Day Tour
Bali, opposite Tamsui, is often called Bali Left Bank. Compared to the crowded Tamsui on holidays, Bali is less crowded and more cozy. After getting off the ferry, you can rent a bicycle, take a walk, stroll along the Tamsui River, slow down and relax yourself.
You can ride your bike all the way to Shisanhang Cultural Park, which is a great place for children to take their kids for a walk. Children can slide down a long slide 🛝 and a long grass slope. There are also kite vendors next to the park, where you can fly kites.
Adults can enjoy the scenery and relax.
If you drive here, you can park your car in the public parking lot opposite the Bali Ferry Head Old Street. It costs 90 yuan per time on holidays, which is very cost-effective. After visiting Bali Left Bank, you can also take a ferry to Tamsui.
🤣🤣🤣Instead of spending time looking for a parking space in Tamsui, it is also an option to park in Bali and take a ferry⛴️ to Tamsui. 👍

Taipei holiday destination|Bali + Tamsui to watch the sea for a whole day☀️
Today is a really great day. We successfully escaped from downtown Taipei! After finally getting through the long winter in Taipei, it’s summer today.☀️ Such good weather must not be wasted, so I decided to plan a day trip to the beach on a whim.
📷Bali
The first stop is directly to Bali. The transportation is super convenient. You can take the MRT to Guandu and then transfer to the bus to reach Bali Zuo'an Park. I was amazed when I got there, the whole street was lined with super cute restaurants, I chose a Thai restaurant called Island, and when I walked in, I felt like I had teleported to a Southeast Asian country.
I bought a cup of coffee and took a leisurely stroll along the park's sea-view trail, stopping from time to time and basking in the sun. It was really comfortable and it was exactly my ideal way to relax.
📷Fresh water
You can take a boat directly from Bali Zuoan Pier to Tamsui Old Street. The wind from the sea blows away the heat instantly, and the sea surface is sparkling, which is super beautiful. After walking around the old street and having something to eat, we found a restaurant facing the sea - Shuiwan, sat down, ordered a glass of ice-cold white wine, and waited for the magic hour to arrive.
The weather is getting hotter and hotter. Today the sunset is around 5:30. Fortunately, the weather is clear and the golden sun is clearly visible. It is really perfect to end the day with such a beautiful scenery.
I didn’t act like a “special forces soldier” on this trip. I fully utilized our free-spirited nature and was able to feel the rare sense of relaxation in Taiwan. I really love it!

To avoid the crowds, choose a hot day to see the sand sculptures.
The only word that popped into my mind instantly was "hot".
This year, the theme of Balisha City is interstellar universe.
Planets, rockets, aliens, even cats and dogs are wearing space gear.
Some sand sculptures are combined with lighting effects and are more beautiful to watch at night.

Taipei Bali area...
#Overseas travel #Taipei #ParisBali
If you go to Danshui, take a boat and visit the village of Paris!
(But I recommend taking it when it doesn't rain)
The sea water is not clean, and if you sit on the very edge, the water can splash, so choosing a seat is important.
There are also foods like Grandma Bo and Twin Donuts, and you can take pictures at landmarks:)
I read in reviews that the boat ride was 5-10 minutes, but it was longer than that (both round trips)
You can use the Easy Card, so you don't have to buy a ticket.

Bali Left Bank Taiwan
Bali Left Bank Park is located at the mouth of Danhuo River. It has a wide view and green grass. The wooden plank road plays the role of separating people and vehicles. You can take a leisurely stroll. When you are tired, you can sit on the embankment or pavilion to rest, or you can walk down to the beach to play. You can enjoy the ecology in the sand, and there are also foot-washing faucets on the shore, which is convenient and considerate. Sand sculptures are also displayed in the park, and the lifelike sculptures make people admire the artist's creations. There are scenic restaurants and coffee shops near the park, as well as old street snacks. Bathing in the golden sunset at dusk is even more romantic.
Beautiful park which built along the coast of Bali district. You can also take a ferry to cross the river to another famous scene, TamSui district.

Marvellous Sand Sculptures by the beach!
#beachlife We went on a day trip to Tan Shui (淡水) at Taipei city, Taiwan and decided to venture to this ‘Bali’ Island on the other side by ferry, only costing NT$40! While we were expecting some old streets, food stalls, gardens and parks, we discovered that there’s an ongoing exhibition on Sand sculptures made by this unique black sand that’s only can be found on the beach of this island! Look at the absolutely stunning and gorgeous sand sculptures! We were totally impressed and that made our day in Taipei! So glad that we visited this beautiful place! 😎

The night is getting more beautiful! From sand sculpture to light sculpture, it’s time to come to Bali Zuoan Park
Address: No. 36, Guanhai Avenue, Bali District, New Taipei City
Atmosphere/Facilities:
From now until mid-October, Bali Zuo'an Park not only has the "Bali City Sand Sculpture" on display, but also has light sculptures to enjoy at night!
It is recommended to come at 4 pm when the sun is not so hot, walk through the "Time Corridor" and slowly appreciate the 16 sand sculptures in the five mythological areas.
At five in the evening, we had dinner at a nearby restaurant. If you like the Balinese style and can accept a package of around NT700, Water Bay Four Seasons is recommended. The Thai food on the island tastes good, and there is a sandpit in the courtyard for children to play. Those who love Chinese stir-fry can choose Flora Coffee. The average cost per person at these two restaurants is about NT 350 to NT 400. Of course, there are also five-star hotels such as Four Points by Sheraton to choose from.
Features: After the lights are turned on at 6:30 p.m., you can stroll on the lawn and admire the beautiful and dazzling light sculptures. The light sculpture themes include:
The Moon Goddess in the Peach Blossom Forest, the Goddess and Blue Rose in the Gold Coast, the Rainbow and Castle in the Hall of Gods, and the Peach Hero...
Say goodbye to the concrete jungle for a while and take a leisurely trip to the riverside!

The Left Bank’s Old Chinese Hot Coffee Shop: Flora Coffee
Address: No. 59, Guanhai Avenue, Bali District, New Taipei City
Atmosphere/Facilities: When it comes to restaurants in Bali Zuo'an, the old-fashioned "Flore Café" definitely has a place! The restaurant serves Chinese and Western food in an elegant environment, and the hot stir-fried dishes are also of a very high standard. In the early years, it was often difficult to get a seat. After a change of ownership and chefs, I'm glad that the food has finally returned to its standard! Parking in a designated parking lot can get a $50 discount on parking fees
Features: Four Seasons Guyang Stinky Tofu NT280, four season beans with crispy stinky tofu, spicy taste, very good with rice! Jinsha Mushroom NT$320, a close combination of salted egg yolk and king oyster mushroom, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a must-order every time! The new dish, sesame oil baked egg, is NT$260. It’s a big pot and looks great value for money.
Don’t miss the waffles here. The ice cream waffle is NT$240. The waffles have a solid texture, are not sweet or greasy, and are very delicious. Add two large scoops of ice cream, and it is highly recommended as a dessert after the meal!
Price per person: Starting from NT220 per dish, with rice and a drink.
