Balekambang Beach is a stunning and tranquil beach that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural elements. The beach is characterized by its long stretch of golden sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. The picturesque landscape, with rocky cliffs and small islands dotting the horizon, creates a postcard-worthy setting that attracts visitors from near and far.
One of the highlights of Balekambang Beach is the iconic Hindu temple, Pura Luhur Amerta Bhuana. Perched on a small rocky island just off the shore, the temple adds a touch of mystique and spirituality to the beach. Visitors can reach the temple by crossing a wooden bridge, which is an adventure in itself. It's a popular spot for photography enthusiasts who want to capture the beauty of the temple against the backdrop of the ocean.

BEACH BALEKAMBANG JAWA TIMUR
Balekambang This beach began to develop and was visited by the wider community in 1978, after the opening of the access road by the Head of Srigonco Tukiran village. Balekambang's name became more known after it was officially opened as a tourist spot by the Regent of Malang, Eddy Slamet in 1983. At that time, the road was already buried. This beach was also inaugurated as a scout camp site in Malang Regency. Now, access to Balekambang is easy and convenient, visitors only have difficulty when they are in the Mayit Gorge area because of the sharp incline. #triplocal

Balekambang Beach
The first beach that i visited when i traveled South Malang.
You can reach this beach just by using GMaps, and once you get here, you can go to other beaches around.
I visited 7 beaches, in 1 day. Started from Balekambang, Bajul Mati, Ungarap (part of Bajul Mati), Batu Bengkung, Goa Cina, Sendang Biru, and last, most definitely not the least, Sendiki.
You can reach this beach by motorcycle or car. Please make sure that you vehicle in good shape. If you use car, you might wanna use car with quite high clearance, min toyota avanza (1 of most common car in Indonesia). Use your GMaps, and your good to go.
From the center of Malang, it takes about 2 - 2.5 hours car driving, in normal traffic. Better you start early in the morning, save some times on the road and you can visit more beaches.
