How can y
How can you miss desserts when you come to Hong Kong! We have arranged several popular desserts and bakeries on this trip. Every bite is amazing. Collect them quickly~
🍳 Bakehouse – Must-try classic egg tart
When it comes to Hong Kong egg tarts, Bakehouse is definitely on the list! The egg tart itself has a relatively thin crust and moderate crispiness, which blends perfectly with the rich and smooth filling. It tastes very balanced and smooth, and it really lives up to its reputation! . In addition to the egg tarts, their other breads also look great. We were attracted by the huge appearance and bought salt-alkali bread. It tastes salty and solid when you bite it, and it is super filling.
📍Wan Chai Main Store
Address: G/F, 14 Tai Wong Street East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
📍Central Store
Address: G/F, 5 Staunton Street, Central, Hong Kong
📍Causeway Bay Store
Address: G/F, 16 Kai Chiu Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
🌸 Hashtag B
Another must-try egg tart is Hashtag B! Their egg tarts are shaped like flowers, which are very cute. The puff pastry is crispy and layered, which is quite different from the style of the bakehouse. They each have their own characteristics and it’s really hard to tell which is better!
There is also a signature "Balala Oil Bread" here, which is sandwiched with two large pieces of butter. It tastes very sinful but super satisfying. If you love butter, don't miss it~
📍Causeway Bay Store
Address: Shop F, G/F, Po Wing Building, 67 Lee Garden Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong
(We went to the Causeway Bay store. There was no need to queue for both stores. The address was also nearby! We were satisfied at once.)
📍Tsim Sha Tsui Store
Address: Shop C, G/F, Harvey House, 49 Carnarvon Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
🍞 Vision Bakery – A popular bakery with long queues
This store may not look big, but it is extremely popular. The breads in the store look very exquisite, making people want to try each one. We chose tiramisu flavored bread, the bottom layer is crepe bread, and the top layer is full of cream and cocoa powder. The sweetness is just right and not greasy, and the ingredients are rich and substantial. I recommend it!
📍Central Store
(Close to the famous Central to Mid-Levels Escalator, the world's longest outdoor covered pedestrian escalator, connecting the Central business district with the Mid-Levels residential area.)
Address: LG/F, Tsui Man Building, 7 Staunton Street, Soho, Central, Hong Kong
🍵 Jia Jia Dessert – Traditional Hong Kong style sweet soup
We chose to take out sesame paste as a midnight snack. As soon as we opened it, the aroma was so strong that we couldn’t stop eating it. It was really satisfying!
📍Jordan Main Store
Address: G/F, 29 Ningbo Street, Jordan, Kowloon
🍦 Fuhao Ice Cream – A good choice for cooling off on the streets
Regal ice cream can be found almost everywhere on the streets of Hong Kong. The ice cream part is rich and smooth, especially the biscuits underneath are not ordinary wafers, but thick crispy cookies, which taste very sincere! It's just right to have one when it's hot.
Overall, this dessert trip in Hong Kong was very satisfying. I recommend it to those of you who also love desserts and baking❤️
If you are a vegetarian, there are some vegetarian options that are safe to eat (but it is still recommended to ask on site). Dessert lovers should not miss these ones!
