The Hundred-Mile Sky Road is a scenic spot that is definitely worth experiencing for its beautiful scenery and thrilling driving experience.
Keep in mind a few points: 1. The road of the Hundred-Mile Sky Road has very large undulations, steep slopes, and many bends. The scenic area indicates that cars with engines over 1.4 liters can travel, but I think at least 1.6 liters is needed. My car is 1.6 liters, and when going uphill in S gear, I have to press the gas pedal to the floor, feeling like it's not moving. It's a bit dangerous for beginners; you need some driving experience to handle this road because of the large undulations. When going uphill, you press the gas pedal to the floor, and as soon as you reach the top, there's a steep downhill, and if the gas pedal is not yet released, you have to quickly press the brake. It takes a few such road sections to get used to the throttle control (the road conditions are basically like this). There are many bends, and some places have very sharp turns. Drivers who have never driven in mountainous areas should pay more attention and drive slower.
2. Try to choose a clear sunny day to go there, as the place looks different on cloudy days and sunny days. However, even on sunny days, the weather changes quickly here, so take the opportunity to take more photos when there are blue skies and white clouds. If it's cloudy, observe more, and if you're not in a hurry, you can wait a bit.
3. The Hundred-Mile Sky Road also includes the Qiansongba National Forest Park, which is a forest farm. To get to specific scenic spots inside, you need to hike, and personally, I don't think it's necessary to go. The last photo is taken there.
4. When you get to the south entrance of the Hundred-Mile Sky Road, at the ticket office, feel free to ask any questions. The service attitude is super good. We bought our tickets at window 3, and the ticket seller not only explained the route in detail but also wrote it down carefully in the tour manual for me, which I am very grateful for.
5. Know your limits. We only went as far as the Farm Flower Sea and then returned (if you don't want to go further, you can leave the scenic area here). There seems to be a ticket office there, and if you go further, there are dozens of kilometers to exit 2 (the road after exit 2 is not good), and it will be very late and unsafe. If you want to complete the whole journey, try to get to the scenic spot as early as possible. We didn't get to the scenic area until 10 am, went to Qiansongba for a round, had a meal in between, and didn't get to the Farm Flower Sea until 3 pm. Most of the route is just driving straight ahead without any forks. The Farm Flower Sea area is relatively open, with restrooms and staff; ask if you don't understand.
6. Be sure to bring food and water, self-heating rice is a good choice. If you're going the whole way, bring more food and drink. Control your water intake, don't drink if you're not very thirsty, because there are very few toilets.
7. Be sure to fill up your car with gas!

This is the third year that Yilan has come to the Hundred Mile Sky Road. After the rain, the weather is clear, with large cartoon clouds, lush rolling distant mountains and grasslands, countless wind turbines, and the Hundred Mile Sky Road still looks as beautiful as ever in my heart. The scenic area has been upgraded and renovated this year, with more routes to explore. After entering the gate, we kept stopping to take photos, and one memory card was simply not enough. Everywhere is a beautiful scene that can't be captured enough~

Scenic Area Introduction:
The Hundred Mile Sky Road Scenic Area is located in Datun Town, Fengning, Hebei, with a total length of more than 100 kilometers. The scenic area includes peaks, forests, grasslands, wetlands, and farmland, making it the largest and longest self-driving destination in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The main entrance of the Hundred Mile Sky Road is the south entrance, and there are four other exits. Besides returning to the south entrance, there is Exit 1 near Huanghuading, Exit 2 near Haohanpo, and the north exit towards Saihanba. You can choose based on your time and subsequent itinerary.

It's unrealistic to complete the entire Hundred Mile Sky Road in one go. This time, Yilan unlocked a new route, which is beautiful, less crowded, and has many unique features. Highly recommended for friends who plan to visit. It's suggested to arrive in the afternoon, enter the Hundred Mile Sky Road from the south entrance by car, follow the signs all the way up, and after reaching the Tiandi T-Stage, turn left from here. Follow the mountain road down for a few minutes to reach Juxiantai. This is a huge circular viewing platform built on the grassland. You can walk up along the long wooden plank road, and there are few tourists. We didn't encounter anyone else during the whole journey. Juxiantai offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the magnificent mountain scenery, and drone aerial photography is absolutely stunning!

After leaving Juxiantai, continue down past the Chaping exit, turn right and go up the mountain to return to Huanghuading on the Hundred Mile Sky Road. Continue towards Liuyunling, and this section truly feels like walking on the Sky Road, heading towards the clouds, with wind turbines spinning above. Finally, we reached Fengchebanhua, with patches of colorful birch forests on the grassland, rows of wind turbines on the mountain top, leisurely cattle strolling on the grass, and the surrounding mountains overlapping. The scene is so beautiful! We stayed here to wait for the sunset and were fortunate to witness a magnificent sunset, so excited that we didn't know how to describe the beauty of nature.

As night fell, we returned to Huanghuading and then turned towards Qiansongba, bypassing the forest to exit the scenic area from the south gate. There were no other cars along the way, making it feel like an exciting jungle adventure~

Baili Sky Road is over 4 hours away from Beijing, making it perfect for weekends or short holidays.
Navigate to the south gate of Baili Sky Road, you can choose to enter from the south gate and exit from the north gate. Drive along the road signs in the scenic area, including the north gate, there are three exits in total. Depending on the time arrangement, you can choose which exit to take. It takes about 4 hours to drive the whole route.
The journey is particularly quiet, with wildflowers, grasslands, windmills, and herds of cattle. Places with scenic views are generally spacious enough to park, and there are toilets at the viewing platforms, which is very convenient.
At night, I chose a tent hotel to stay in. The tent had an independent bathroom, and at night I saw a sky full of stars. It felt like recharging my body over the weekend.
