Baihualing Tropical Rainforest is one of the best natural places to visit in Hainan Island. One of the main attractions of Baihualing is its stunning waterfalls. The spot is perfect to immerse yourself in nature surrounded by dense greenery and biodiversity. There is also a shuttle speed skating trail which I absolutely love! After exploring nature, finishing with a burst of adrenaline and fun is the best thing to end the day. Apart from these two attractions there are many other spots to explore. Fresh air in the peaks of the mountains
Baihualing is part of the tropical rainforest area in Hainan. I love going to the rainforest because it’s great exercise, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the animals around you are in abundance! I was sitting on a tree stump near the peak when a school of butterflies fluttered in 8 formation for nearly 20 minutes all around us. There is a stream that runs from the peak and also a glass bridge tube slide down to the bottom, if you feel adventurous. Baihualing is a place you would want to visit again after your first visit
Baihualing Scenic Area is located in Qiongzhong City, Hainan Province. We drove there from Ding'an, and it took less than 2 hours, which is very convenient. The ticket for the scenic area plus the sightseeing car package is 98 RMB per person, but you can also just buy the entrance ticket for 88 RMB per person. However, considering the full journey is 8 kilometers, it's not very cost-effective, so I suggest buying the package ticket. The sightseeing car is divided into an uphill circuit and a mountaintop circuit. As shown in picture 1, my route was to take the car from the entrance of the scenic area to Baipu Pavilion, then hike up the mountain. Along the way, you can enjoy the landscape, waterfalls, strange rocks, and distant views from the observation decks. After reaching the top, there is a Guanyin statue for blessing children, where you can pray, and then go to the Guanyin station to take the mountaintop circuit. There are supposed to be 4 stops in total, but since we went during the off-season and the glass walkway was under maintenance, we only stopped at the Wannian Divine Tree station, which basically meant the car took us around the top of the mountain, haha. Baihualing is a scenic area that combines mountains, waterfalls, strange rocks, and temples. Here, we not only appreciated the natural wonders created by the 'ghostly craftsmanship' of nature but also experienced the twists and turns of mountain roads, felt the scenery of the tropical rainforest, and enjoyed the fresh air. It was quite a rewarding day.

This time we chose to drive up the mountain ourselves, to experience that unique sense of freedom and convenience. 🚗 The 238 yuan package we bought online is really a bargain, including rainforest zip-lining, treetop walkways, and a tourist shuttle. With one ticket in hand, you can enjoy all of Baohualing! 🌈 Baohua Waterfall is the first must-visit spot on our list. Standing in front of the waterfall, you can feel the splashing droplets, and the photo effect is simply stunning! Although the water flow was not very strong when we went, the serene beauty is more suitable for a visit in the autumn. 🚣♂️ The rainforest zip-lining is definitely a highlight of Baohualing! Two people in a group, sliding down from the top of the mountain in a boat, the thrill and exhilaration are truly unforgettable. Along the way, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery deep in the rainforest, which is a double pleasure for both the eyes and the soul. 🎒 Before going up the mountain, remember to pack your backpack with water and snacks! Climbing is a physical activity, and you need to be well-fed to have the energy to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Also, make sure to do a good job with sun protection, otherwise, you'll come back looking like a little red person~😜 🌞 After coming down the mountain, why not try the local specialty herbal duck in Qiongzhong?
