The resort's design is full of traditional Arabian aesthetics, with stone walls and lanterns everywhere, perfectly complementing the surrounding yellow sand. Unfortunately, the roads are a bit complicated, and we got lost at first, but the staff were very helpful and provided us with a resort map. The reception was very attentive, and check-in was quick. Although they didn't introduce the hotel's activities in detail, the overall service experience was quite good. Our room faced the beautiful desert landscape and was spacious and bright. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was full of Arabian charm, which we loved💖. There were also special snacks and tea delivered to the room, making the stay very special🌟. The room was well-equipped with a TV, minibar, and safe. Every meal was a delight, especially the rooftop lounge, where we could enjoy the desert sunset while savoring Arabian cuisine and shisha, an unforgettable experience. Regarding food, the Al Hadheerah buffet dinner is a must-try🍽️. Although the options are limited, the taste is top-notch, especially the lobster pad thai🦞 and special beef dumplings🥟. Breakfast was very hearty, and I recommend the Indian gentleman at Al Forsan, who provided excellent service and interacted with our baby, which was heartwarming! In addition to the hotel's facilities, the surrounding activities are worth trying. The desert safari is highly recommended!🚗 The whole process was thrilling, and the driver not only led us on a desert adventure but also helped us take photos at specific spots. We saw many desert animals, and it felt like an adventure story! If you love photography, the desert at sunset is a great place for stunning shots📸. Although the hotel's activities are limited, the pool is highly recommended, especially at night when you can gaze at the stars by the pool, which is very healing💫. There are also some nice restaurants nearby, such as Anwā Sunset Lounge and Zala, which are worth trying if you have time. Overall, this desert resort trip was unforgettable, and the staff were very friendly and kind. I was anxious for a while before traveling to Dubai. After the "Star" incident, Southeast Asia and Dubai were all labeled. I downloaded Google map in advance and told the driver to follow the route. From the hotel I stayed in to pedestrians I met on the road asking for directions, they were all very friendly. The city was in good order. I played for a total of 7 days, and my impression of the city got better every day, except that the prices were a bit high, such as 45 dirhams for beef noodles and 18 dirhams for Sprite. It might be because I was traveling to popular attractions such as Dubai Mall, the old castle market near the Burj Al Arab, and the old city of Al seef, but I didn't find where ordinary people live. Some of Dubai's attractions are concentrated in the city. It is very convenient to take the subway. You can buy a nol card at the machine at the subway station. The cost is 6 dirhams, but it is troublesome to return the card when you leave. If you want to experience it, you can buy a ride. A silver card is enough. I personally think it is convenient to take a taxi. There are many taxis on the road. Just wave your hand to stop. Many people recommend using careem. I downloaded it but didn't use it. I just waved on the roadside. The other half of Dubai's fun is to stay in hotels. There are many luxury hotels in Palm Island, and there are many choices. It is also worth staying for a few more days to enjoy the sea breeze and sun, but the beach is average. The best beaches are still near the Burj Al Arab and the Castle Hotel. Chose late June to visit Dubai in off season - few tourists which was great, though day temperatures were almost unbearable. Around 40 during mid day. Spent a night at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort. An easy 2 hour drive from Dubai downtown. Visited nearby man made lakes and natural dunes which was fun. Hotel was awesome especially with few tourists - around 20% full only. Great design and friendly staff. Would go there again and spend a longer time.
