It's delicious and not expensive. 📍Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills Stay here because you will have time to fully enjoy Bana Hills. You can take a lot of pictures. Most importantly, you will be able to take pictures at the Hand Bridge with very few people because the cable car has not opened for outsiders to go up yet. So you can get beautiful pictures that are worth it. 💖Note: The beer garden at night is very fun. There are a lot of Thais. It's fun and enjoyable like being in Thailand. Hello, dipping lovers. Today, we went up to rest at Bana Hills. The main purpose is to dipping Art toys here. On the day we went, there were some items, but Laboo Boo didn't have any. But it's okay, we dipped Skull Panda, Minion, and Teletubby. When we came here, we felt sucked in because we spent a lot of time here. The price may be about 20 baht more expensive than in Thailand, but for us, it was very worthwhile. If anyone comes here, I recommend that you prepare a lot of money in your wallet because you might go bankrupt like us. When we went in the evening, we didn't have to wait in line. We could just walk in. This place closes at 5 pm. The next morning, we stopped by again and didn't have to wait in line like before. We could just go in. SUNWORLD BANAHILL This is Halloween season, some areas are decorated with pumpkins and Halloween atmosphere. It is a place with a good atmosphere, like experiencing many seasons, with lots of fog. Sometimes the sky is clear and sometimes it rains. The air is very cool up there. Anyone who travels to Vietnam around Danang must come up to BANAHILL. It is a popular place. 🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳 We really loved walking around the French Village in Bana Bills. Numerous spots for beautiful photos. Not many people too which was good so not crowded. They also have a Buddhist Pagoda which which you climb up to and then a Japanese Garden with lots of nice greenery around. 🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳 We are now walking along the Brittany Village~an old town with thick walls, sloping roofs, and expansive courtyards. All of them are traditional European masterpieces. The decoration of the exteriors of the shops and restaurants are very nice so we took a lot of photos. Do have a walk in this pretty village. Just to add, I did particularly like the wall with little bird houses and leaves, it was a nice spot to take pictures. Beside that there is a cafe and a restaurant to have a break and eat and drink. This work vividly reproduces the Gothic architecture that was very popular in the past in France. It is designed, built delicately, the cathedral’s exterior brings majesty and luxury. A unique feature of St Denis Cathedral is the beauty of colorful glass panels, arches, and European-style stone walls. We also stumble upon a souvenir shop and got ourselves some little gifts to take back home.Again there are lovely shops around and many places to eat. Finally, we reach the place located in the center of the French Village which is the Du Dome Square. 🏰 Travel to a European feel near Vietnam with the most popular landmark Ba ​​Na Hills, Da Nang. 🚠 Take a cable car through the fog to the French Village, a magnificent French village located on the top of the mountain. The atmosphere up there is very good, the air is cool and comfortable. 🎡 There is a fun Fantasy Park amusement park to play and another highlight that you must not miss, the Golden Bridge, the giant hand bridge, amidst the fog, a great photo spot. It is recommended to come early in the morning or in the evening, there will be fewer people. As for the weather, it depends on your luck. When Fern went, there was very thick fog. She sat and waited and everything, the fog was very thick. And the weather is quite changeable. Sometimes it's clear, sometimes it's foggy. I couldn't adjust in time. 🤣 Ba Na Hills is about 40 km from Da Nang city. It takes about 50 minutes to travel. I called Grab from the hotel for about 500 baht. There were 4 of us, so we split the cost. Ba Na Hills was the first destination that made Fern want to visit Da Nang. I highly recommend it. For this trip, Fern flew directly from Bangkok to Da Nang with Vietjet Airlines. The flight took only 1.40 hours. #wheretogo While walking around the SunWorld Bana Hills and near the “Beer Garden” we spotted this super grand Helios waterfall which has five sculpted royal gold-tone alloy horses which is designed by a famous artist Susan Leyland. In addition all around the waterfalls are 20 other gods statues of the same material. Creating a really luxury feeling of being top of the world and near heaven. Also up above the area is the rose garden as the name says it is full of enchanted roses, where there is a viewing area that over looks the entire city of Da Nang. You can even spot the incoming cable cars!

Before departure, I had already bought entrance tickets and round-trip bus tickets to Ba Na Hills from Da Nang online. At the designated location, we boarded the bus and arrived at the foot of Ba Na Hills at around 10:00 AM. There are three cable car routes here, and the package includes a round trip, so we chose the route that goes directly to the top of the mountain. Ba Na Hills is a theme park with a variety of entertainment facilities. Besides the famous landmarks, I think there are many hidden gems worth visiting, especially the 4D theater. The way to get there is quite hidden; you need to take a monorail to another peak! The whole day at Ba Na Hills felt like a treasure hunt. 😍😍😍

It's totally worth the ticket price, absolutely magnificent. It feels like being in Europe and there are so many rides to enjoy. The cable car ride from the bottom to Ba Na Hills is very exciting because the view along the way is stunning, and it's very windy. When you reach the top, the weather is very cool and pleasant, which is a big contrast to the hot weather at the bottom, similar to Thailand in April. If you're planning to visit, make sure to practice walking a lot because the place is really huge. I recommend staying at Ba Na Hills for 2 nights and 3 days. I was very impressed and will definitely find an opportunity to visit Ba Na Hills again.

Ba Na Hills - our experience The good: • So far up you would have no idea it’s there, go through a layer of clouds. • Entertainment at schedules hours across the park • Alpine coaster was pretty fun • Temple at start was beautiful • Beautiful buildings and incredible scenery • Theme park section was super fun even for adults The bad: • Queue so long to the golden bridge hands that we had to skip • Poor queue/crowd management • International buffet at Four Seasons was so hard to find and we wasted a lot of time trying to get there for our time slot. Food was average. • Really loud music making it hard to talk • Half the cable car routes not working meaning couldn’t go to some locations and only one congested route to get to golden bridge We booked through Klook actually and were very disappointed with the bus service. There’s actually multiple sites that offer buses but with 8-8:30am pick up (ours was late) and 3:30-4:30pm departure. You think that’s enough time but it isn’t and bus service was late which ate into time. We saw public bus out of Ba Na Hills so there must be 2 connecting buses to get back to Da Nang. For us it was a lot of money to be disappointed in the day. Not worth for the budget backpacker or low cost holiday groups.

Transportation to Ba Na Hills relies on shuttles, so I opted for a one-day group tour (including cable car, lunch, and transfers). It's very convenient as they provide pick-up and drop-off services within Da Nang city. During winter, the mountain area is often shrouded in mist, making it easy to encounter a whiteout. I kept an eye on the weather forecast before signing up and finally got to see the clear version of the Golden Bridge. However, it started to drizzle in the afternoon, and the fog returned. Strolling through the French Village in the mist was quite interesting too.
