Ba Na Hills SunWorld in Da Nang, Vietnam
Location: Ba Na Hills SunWorld, Da Nang, Vietnam
Highlights: Undoubtedly one of the best tourist destinations in Vietnam. While the Golden Bridge/Hand Bridge is the main attraction, the French-style palace and other parks, as well as the surrounding shops, are also amazing attractions. The cable car ride is also thrilling. It takes 20 minutes but is worth it.

🇫🇷Bana Hills’ Lovely French Flair and Asian Gardens🇻🇳
🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳
We really loved walking around the French Village in Bana Bills. Numerous spots for beautiful photos. Not many people too which was good so not crowded. They also have a Buddhist Pagoda which which you climb up to and then a Japanese Garden with lots of nice greenery around. We also liked the spot where we relaxed a bit on the benches but were also able to take some photos🥰 There are also some lily ponds around and a peculiar monkey shaped shrub🤣
Tip:Climb up the stairs and have a look at the Buddhist Pagoda if you have time, it is quite nice and peaceful💙

🇫🇷Brittany Village in Bana Hills🇫🇷
🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳
We are now walking along the Brittany Village~an old town with thick walls, sloping roofs, and expansive courtyards. All of them are traditional European masterpieces.
The decoration of the exteriors of the shops and restaurants are very nice so we took a lot of photos.
Do have a walk in this pretty village.
Just to add, I did particularly like the wall with little bird houses and leaves, it was a nice spot to take pictures. Beside that there is a cafe and a restaurant to have a break and eat and drink.
It really feels like we were in Europe in the middle of a festival.

🇻🇳French Cathedral in Bana Hills🇻🇳
🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳
We walk into the St Denis Cathedral~a miniature version of the Basilica of Saint-Denis in France. This work vividly reproduces the Gothic architecture that was very popular in the past in France.
It is designed, built delicately, the cathedral’s exterior brings majesty and luxury. A unique feature of St Denis Cathedral is the beauty of colorful glass panels, arches, and European-style stone walls.
We also stumble upon a souvenir shop and got ourselves some little gifts to take back home.Again there are lovely shops around and many places to eat.
Finally, we reach the place located in the center of the French Village which is the Du Dome Square. This place is used to hold festivals, and here we were able to watch lively performances by dancers before our next stop🇫🇷

Helios Waterfall At Bana Hills
#wheretogo
While walking around the SunWorld Bana Hills and near the “Beer Garden” we spotted this super grand Helios waterfall which has five sculpted royal gold-tone alloy horses which is designed by a famous artist Susan Leyland.
In addition all around the waterfalls are 20 other gods statues of the same material. Creating a really luxury feeling of being top of the world and near heaven.
Also up above the area is the rose garden as the name says it is full of enchanted roses, where there is a viewing area that over looks the entire city of Da Nang. You can even spot the incoming cable cars!

🇻🇳Feeling France in Vietnam🇻🇳💙
🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳
Still on our Epcot-like French Village stroll in Bana Hills. We discover many alleyways as we walk around and even more European inspired structures. Bana Hills did an amazing job with replicating many French buildings. Frim shops to restaurants to statues and the streets-definitely a Wow factor when visiting Bana Hills. Recommend to make time and leisurely roam the French Village, a lot to see and many great opportunities for photos too.

🇻🇳😋B’estival at Bana Hills😋🇻🇳
🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳
Here we are In the midst of the 2023 B’estival~
A European Food and Beer Festival.
As we walk around we see a jubilant and most vibrant festival of beer and food. Colorful bunting flags strung across the aisles, on the premises of European-style shops, and on horse-drawn carriages full of fresh flowers, carrying huge beer crates are like inviting the whole world. Lots of people eating and drinking with friends and family.
A joyful atmosphere of the festival in a very bustling way, felt so much like being in a German Christmas market😊

Ba Na Hills - honest review
Ba Na Hills - our experience
The good:
• So far up you would have no idea it’s there, go through a layer of clouds.
• Entertainment at schedules hours across the park
• Alpine coaster was pretty fun
• Temple at start was beautiful
• Beautiful buildings and incredible scenery
• Theme park section was super fun even for adults
The bad:
• Queue so long to the golden bridge hands that we had to skip
• Poor queue/crowd management
• International buffet at Four Seasons was so hard to find and we wasted a lot of time trying to get there for our time slot. Food was average.
• Really loud music making it hard to talk
• Half the cable car routes not working meaning couldn’t go to some locations and only one congested route to get to golden bridge
We booked through Klook actually and were very disappointed with the bus service. There’s actually multiple sites that offer buses but with 8-8:30am pick up (ours was late) and 3:30-4:30pm departure. You think that’s enough time but it isn’t and bus service was late which ate into time. We saw public bus out of Ba Na Hills so there must be 2 connecting buses to get back to Da Nang.
For us it was a lot of money to be disappointed in the day. Not worth for the budget backpacker or low cost holiday groups.

Ba Na Hills Danang Sun World
Ba Na Hills is not just about the Golden Bridge; it's also a theme park with many photo spots and rides. Since it's located in a high-altitude area, it can get quite chilly when there's a lot of fog, so it's a good idea to bring a light jacket. There are many beautifully decorated places, making it a tourist spot that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age.

Ba Na Hills one-day group tour
Transportation to Ba Na Hills relies on shuttles, so I opted for a one-day group tour (including cable car, lunch, and transfers). It's very convenient as they provide pick-up and drop-off services within Da Nang city. During winter, the mountain area is often shrouded in mist, making it easy to encounter a whiteout. I kept an eye on the weather forecast before signing up and finally got to see the clear version of the Golden Bridge. However, it started to drizzle in the afternoon, and the fog returned. Strolling through the French Village in the mist was quite interesting too.

Ba Na Hills Sun World in Da Nang Vietnam
#themepark #danang #Vietnam
We joined a tour group to Ba Na Hills in Vietnam, due to its location that is out of the city and up in the hills. We were picked up and gathered with local tourists.
We needed to take funicular to get to the hill. The theme park is very huge. Other than amazing spots, they also presented some different performances in different timing, such as theatrical dance, costumes performance, etc.
Expect one full day to spend in this place.

Sunworld Ba Na Hills - more than the Golden Bridge!
People tend to look into the Golden Bridge as the most famous and instagrammable place in Ba Na Hills! But to my pleasure and surprise, Sunworld Ba Na Hills offered more - and I mean more! The Fanstasyworld was a great moment as there were activities, rides and all my favorite - a dance performance performed by global artists! Also, the buffet was amazing! It was the biggest buffet in my life. I indulged myself with western, asian and meditteranean food! While the villages, including the french village, were nice! Hands down to the free beers in the mini-brewery! Moreover, a beer drinking competition was held, with really good vibe music. I will return with my family in this place!

📍Bana Hills day tour, Danang, Vietnam
Visited the famous Golden Bridge in Danang and we were very impressed with the architecture! The cable car ride from the base took around 20 minutes, which was alright. The Golden Bridge was so grandeur and impressive! It was drizzling during our visit but that did not dampen our mood! We were pretty lucky as the architecture of the Golden Bridge was still visible during our visit, but with poor visibility. There is also gardens and Linh Ung pagoda at the end of the trail, would recommend to spend some time there as well, very meticulously planned and structured place. Lovely to visit! We also enjoyed the cool weather at Bana Hills, chilly and breezy, love that! Would love to revisit again during the summer to have a better view of the bridge!
