Beauty of Ayutthaya historical Park office
The historic city of Ayutthaya is the old capital of Siam (nowadays Thailand), and was built in the 14th century. It was the second capital of the country.
Nowadays, you can visit the Ayutthaya historical park, which is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins of the old city are quite well preserved. It is possible to visit Ayutthaya as a day trip from Bangkok, or stay for one night while travelling there. Now Ayutthaya is an ordinary provincial city but with a historic trump card in hand. Here stands a wealth of partially restored temples, ruins and Buddha statues from the abandoned royal city.
Some of the temples are among Thailand's most famous, and it's also here where you'll find the iconic Buddha head.

Ayutthaya is a wonderful historical haven a short hop from Bangkok.
It is an ancient site visited by millions who wish to pay respect and soak in the wonder. Most people cycle around and explore in their own time, and there usually coaches of Chinese who arrive.
Highlights include the reclining Budda, the temple ruins and the Buddha head in the banyan tree. It's a great area to just walk and explore and enjoy fresh air and sunshine

A day tour in Ayutthaya, north of Bangkok, is really one for the history-loving heart. We got to learn how the Burmese and Thai people were at war and looting from each other.
There are so many kinds of temples and it was interesting to see the details of each structure.
Tips:
1. Bring water and umbrella.
2. Wear walking shoes.
3. There's an entrance fee for the temples so make sure you bring cash.

The ancient city of Ayyuthaya is one of the most magnificent places to see in the world. It was one of the largest cities of its time and hosted 1 million people in the 16th century. It consists of many temples and palaces where you can take lots of photos. When you come here, the atmosphere is quite different and will take you to ancient history.
How to get there: You can take bus or taxi from Bangkok. There are many tuktuk also available
In 2023, I would like to visit Cambodia, which is famous for its ancient cities again.

Ayutthaya Day Trip in Bangkok
If you’re interested in learning more about the history and culture of the Land of Smiles, one of the best places to visit in Thailand is the ancient Ayutthaya Historical Park. The ruins of this former kingdom are quite impressive and a lot of fun to explore.
While it’s a doable day trip from Bangkok, you may want to stay a night or two to make sure you see all of the Ayutthaya temples.
We went there at 8 o clock in the morning, and theres a lot of people already. Before going inside the park make sure that you wear an appropriate outfit, wearing shorts is a no no, but incase you are wearing one you can buy skirts or pants from the vendors outside the park.

Ayyuthaya- Unesco World Heritage Centre
The city, founded in 1350, was the capital city of Ayyuthaya antique empire.Dozens of Buddhist temples, statues and places are protected by UNESCO
The location is around 90 km far from the Bangkok. Since transportation is only by bus from Bangkok, I preferred to come by taxi. about 20 dollars
There are a lot of structure that you will admire, it is definitely one of the most important places in the world that you should see.
However, it makes it very difficult to travel when the weather is quite hot.
You can also experience feeding elephants near this area.
I would definitely recommend to see the living paradise on earth

Journey to the past!
Before the Thai capital was moved to Bangkok, Ayutthaya was the seat of the Siamese empire for more than 400 years (1350-1767). The kingdom, which is estimated to have a population of one million, made Ayutthaya the largest city of its time.
Ayutthaya is one of the most impressive cities in Asia and a must-see for every history enthusiast when visiting Thailand. The Menam, Lopburi and Pasak rivers surround Ayutthaya Historical Park, the island where most of the temple ruins are located. Wandering through this ancient city will make you feel like you have stepped back in time. It will take you at least two days to see all the attractions, and longer if you don't want to feel rushed.
To get to Ayutthaya you can directly buy tickets on the spot at Hua Lamphong Station (Bangkok Train Station), and it will take approximately 90 - 120 minutes.

Cycling Through The Autthaya: Amazing Bike Tour
#biketour
I want to make a reservation right away. Despite the headline, there won't be a single photo with a bike. Each time we left them in specially equipped parking lots near the nearest cafes or temples and were already on our way to explore the city.
The vast majority of people, having rented a bicycle, go to the Pasak River and, after paying a few baht (like 5 per person and 2 more for a bicycle), cross the river by ferry. And there it is already close to the temples. We chose a more perverse path and turned aside and drove across the Preedee-Tramrong bridge. The movement is creepy. A huge number of cars and buses. Buzzing, making noise. Since there is left-hand traffic in Thailand, then you need to ride a bike in the left lane. At the same time, of course, novice cyclists have nothing to do here, since one awkward movement and you can simply get run over by a car. More difficulties arise when making right turns. From the leftmost row, it is necessary to change abruptly to the right, given that some of the cars are still going straight. Traffic lights, of course, are not everywhere. A certain skill is needed.
And now, finally, we are in place near Phra Ram Park and the temples in the park itself (we drove here from the train station for 20 minutes, well, maybe 25). The park itself is very beautiful.
Usually people start visiting temples from the rightmost one on the map Wat Phra Mahathat, but we just looked around there and decided to just take a ride in the park. As a result, the first temple visited was Wat Phra Ram. Next, we move towards Wat Phra Si Sanphet temple. Next, we move towards Wat Phra Si Sanphet temple. Next, we move to the territory of the Wat Mahathat temple, from which most tourists usually begin exploring Ayutthaya. Very close to Wat Mahathat temple is another temple Wat Ratburana. Finally, we go to Wat Chai Watthanaram Temple. It is worth noting that the temple is noticeably away from the rest of the temples and if you get there on your own (on the same bike, for example), then be sure to find this temple in advance in the navigator.

Take the train from Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Station to Ayutthaya. Tickets can be purchased in advance, but it's also fine to buy them on the day of travel. Enjoy the scenery from the train window, and you'll arrive in Ayutthaya in about an hour and a half.

Ruins Tour
Ayutthaya has many attractions, but here are a few highly recommended ruins.
Wat Mahathat
This temple, a symbol of Ayutthaya, is famous for the large Buddha head entwined in tree roots. It's a great spot for experiencing the historical atmosphere and taking photos.
Wat Phra Si Sanphet
The royal temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom, characterized by its three grand stupas. You'll be overwhelmed by its majestic atmosphere.

Don't forget to enjoy Thai cuisine at local eateries and cafes between sightseeing. Ayutthaya's specialties, such as "boat noodles" and the sweet "roti," are highly recommended.

Wat Mahathat is located within the Ayutthaya Historical Park, near Wat Ratchaburana. It is a royal monastery built during the reign of King Borommarachathirat I (Khun Luang Pha Ngua) around 1374 AD. However, the construction was not completed before his death. The temple was later completed during the reign of King Ramesuan, who ordered the construction of the main prang and enshrined the Buddha's relics under its base around 1384 AD.

Step Back in Time at Ayutthaya’s Ancient Ruins
#thailandtrip
For history enthusiasts, Ayutthaya Historical Park is an essential stop on any #thailandtrip. Once the capital of the Kingdom of Siam, Ayutthaya is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site that features stunning ruins of temples, palaces, and statues. Wandering through the park, visitors are transported back to the 14th century when Ayutthaya was a thriving metropolis and a major trading hub. The iconic Buddha head entwined in tree roots at Wat Mahathat is one of the most photographed scenes in Thailand. Renting a bicycle or taking a tuk-tuk to explore the sprawling grounds is highly recommended. The park’s serene atmosphere, punctuated by the grandeur of its historical architecture, offers a striking contrast to Thailand’s modern cities. Whether you’re an architecture aficionado or just curious about Thailand’s ancient history, Ayutthaya provides an enriching and awe-inspiring experience.

Day Trip to Ayutthaya, Bangkok, Thailand | Memories of Ayutthaya.
|Memories of Ayutthaya. Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-visit if you have enough time. It's a fallen ancient capital that's worth exploring.
In 1767, the Burmese army captured Ayutthaya. The original royal city site is now Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The capital of the Ayutthaya era was very developed in terms of culture, art, and international trade. Unfortunately, the ancient city was completely destroyed by the invading Burmese army. Everything in the city was burned down. The Burmese army even thought that there were gold, silver, and jewels hidden in the Buddha statues, so they chopped off all the Buddha statues. As you wander around Ayutthaya, you can see the relics of Buddha statues or temples everywhere. Next to the lush branches, the broken Buddha's hand is placed on the ground, giving a sense of historical ruin and sorrow.
The temple buildings in Ayutthaya are mostly in ruins. Everywhere you look, there are different ruins. However, the state of life of the people here will make you feel that a city that is almost "dead" is still "alive" and you will feel the strong spiritual power here.

An ancient town Ayutthaya Thailand 🇹🇭
#ancienttown
Currently, the old city of Ayutthaya, which is an ancient historical city, was founded by king Ramatha Bodhi (1) who was ruled from 1351 years ago. In 1569, it was attacked and conquered by the Burmese kings, and when the war broke out, the city was destroyed and the stupas were also destroyed.
Since 1969, the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand has carried out renovations. In 1991, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
I am interested in the ancient heritage of Thailand. If you want to explore and explore ancient cities and think back to a time in history, I recommend you choose this tour. (We also encourage you to bring an umbrella, hat or sunscreen as the weather is a bit hot.)
