The beautiful Avanos village poet's observation tower, Bayrak Tepe, is a must-visit if you visit Goreme, Turkey. Avanos village, located less than 10 minutes from Goreme, has a beautiful panoramic point where you can look down on Avanos from above. The city authorities have erected statues of famous poets and their poems on the road leading to this place, and the view of the entire Avanos village from the observation tower is truly beautiful. When you go up to Bayram Hill from the left of the Living Heritage Museum, you pass through the Street of Poets. The idea is very good. The landscaping could have been better, but I don't think it's bad as it is. There are statues of our poets on the street. There are also verses from their poems.
