#Auckland Domain Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Christmas in Auckland
#2023travelwish Christmas in Auckland in 2022 is my most unforgettable travel. I’m here right now meeting my little nephew for the first time and I’ll wish to come back every year if I can! And there’s so much to see, smell and eat here. Take a walk around Auckland Domain and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful blooms at Wintergardens.
Get culturally infused at the Auckland Art Gallery, War Memorial and catch a movie at Silo Park.
There’s an abundance of cuisine here that will surely suit everyone's taste bud as well! So no worries for gourmands.
My trip is coming to an end and all I wish for Christmas is to come back to Auckland in 2023 as there’s so much more to explore! Perhaps a trip to the South Island this time.#2023travelwish ##celebratewithtrip #urbanexplorer #summervacation #awesomepic

CITY WALK Auckland Central Park Auckland
Auckland Central Park on the local map is called AUCKLAND DOMAIN, located in the city center, covering an area of more than 800 hectares. This is one of the oldest parks in Auckland, which existed in the mid-18th century. The location is south of Queen's Road, surrounded by the campus of the University of Auckland, and not far from the emerging NEWMARKET business district. The gate has a sense of history, and as soon as you enter, you can see a large green lawn and dense ancient trees. The local big trees have large crowns and the wood looks hard. The roadside flower beds are blooming with colorful flowers. There are many people jogging and walking in the park.
The favorite is the Temperate House (TEMPERATE HOUSE). The sign shows that the greenhouse on the north side was built in the early 19th century for the exposition, aiming to gentrify a part of the park. During the period, due to financial obstacles, etc., it was not completed until 1928. Classical sculptures stand around the central courtyard, adding an elegant atmosphere. The indoor glass roof, the temperature is 28 degrees, has a tropical rainforest style. Even in the local winter, you can see various flowers blooming. Goldfish swim among the water lilies in the pool. Various flowers compete for beauty, and some flowers or leaves are peculiar and have never been seen before. The Auckland Museum (Figure 11) also called the War Memorial Museum is in the park and is worth visiting. Central Park is free, there are many free parking spaces, and you can also take a bus to get there.
This is the best place to relax in Auckland's citizens' holiday. I really admire those countries with low population density, they have large areas of land. Seeing a big green lawn, who can not care about it? The central square is a place where locals enjoy a quiet life and bathe in golden sunshine. Although the terrain is also ups and downs, it is already flat for a country like Auckland built on many volcanoes.
