[2025 Kuching Stay] Travel Guide for Astana Wing - Riverside Majestic Hotel (Updated Apr)

Location is amazing. Really close to the city center and the waterfront. You can go for a nice stroll in the evenings along the waterfront. I have also appended some pictures of the hotel buffet breakfast. It is extremely simple and nothing too extravagant. The housekeeping is also not very punctual so you will need to remind them. The hotel is situated right in the middle of Kuching. Conveniently located near the well-known Kuching cat monument, waterfront food vendors, main bazaar that’s renowned for its exquisite Sarawak good & the authentic Sarawak kek lapis. #malaysia

#staycation We love our staycation in Kuching so much. We were staying at the Riverside Majestic Hotel. It is located right in front of the Kuching Esplanade and Waterfront. The room was spacious with a nice river view. We can see Astana from our room. At night, we like to walk around to see the beautiful shining bridge and Waterfront. There were a lot of nice foods around too. We bought delicious kek lapis at a really cheap price. It was a relaxing slow-paced staycation here. #kuching

The location is superb, right in front of the Kuching Esplanade and Waterfront, so happening at night, easy access to most attractions, restaurants and shopping malls. Spacious and comfortable room, strong wifi connection, well maintained even though the hotel is a bit old. Decent breakfast, nice view from breakfast lounge. The staff is always nice and welcoming. As I gaze out my rear bedroom window I neglect to see the scenery all around my brown and beige swimming pool. I typically just think to myself, " ah nothing different just the pool in the backyard." When the seasons change I don't observe the pool's altering environment. I think I'll now finally stop and admire some of the beauty and surroundings of my pool during the different seasons. While I sit here and stare out my back window, I notice the immaculately tall trees shading the dock and pool. The trees seem as if they are endless. It is almost like they reach#stayc#goout#awesomepic side ation the clouds. Soon the leaves will change to beautiful shades of orange and red. Eventually they will fall and cover everything below it. The trees are also homes to many birds. In the early hours of the morning you can hear all of the crows cawing, and the cardinals chirping. When the weather gets cold I know personally I will not miss being woken up early by the sounds of the many birds.
