I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, and the location was extremely convenient, just a short walk from two main subway lines. The lobby had a very handy mini-bar area that provided free coffee, tea, snacks, and drinks for guests around the clock. On New Year's Eve, they even allowed guests to go up to the rooftop to watch the fireworks. I must make special mention of the service quality. Due to a logistical error, my booking date was incorrect. We arrived at the hotel very late at night, but the staff quickly figured out the availability of rooms and were able to accommodate us for several nights in a very short time, and even notified us in the following days because the room became available due to the delayed cancellation. They really went out of their way to help us with the emergency situation over a very busy New Year's weekend. Very thoughtful and professional service. The transportation is very convenient. The arTree hotel is a beautiful nature themed boutique hotel in Taipei, conveniently located near the metro stations and Songshan airport. The hotel has very big rooms and the biggest bed I have ever slept in, I stayed there twice within a week and both times the rooms were incredible. There are big bathtubs, shower cubicle and separate toilet, the room has a nice little lounge area and a desk with good wifi if you need to work. The hotel as a nature inspired theme and the rooms feature very earthy colour schemed with elements of flowers, trees and insects for decoration. The corridors have abstract spiders and flowers and the lifts have stunning cherry blossom roofing. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and is surprisingly big and spacious inside. There is a 7/11, family mart and a starbucks within a 2 minute walk along with metro stations, restaurants, coin laundry and bars within a 5/10 minute walk. The hotel is a pick up and drop off location on the Uber app so that really helps if you are wanting to get somewhere fast! The staff were really helpful and suggested local options and helped me by looking after my luggage for a few days between my stays. The breakfast spread is very good with a nice variety of options, from cereal and toast to cooked to order hot options. There are juices, coffee and yougurt and plenty of fresh fruit and salads.
