Soufflé is full of air
A friend recommended this dessert shop for a midnight snack. A group of six of us were seated before 8:30, and after 9 o'clock the place was basically full, but there was only one person working there, so we had to wait patiently.
📍Location: Sai Ying Pun MTR Station Exit B2, you need to go up the slope and walk for about ten minutes.
🏠Environment: The restaurant has a green facade and a small interior space that can only accommodate about fifteen guests, with the kitchen at the back. The walls are also painted bright green, with menus or calligraphy and paintings hung on them, and cat ornaments placed on them, which is very cute.
🤵🏻Service: Dine-in or take-away available, each diner is limited to ordering at least one dessert or drink, no extra charge.
🍰Midnight snack:
🥧Hokkaido milk original flavor souffle with ice cream🍦 $62
The soufflé is perfectly risen 🥰, full of air, hot and spicy inside, and has the texture of a half-cooked steamed egg 😍. The taste is very good 👍, but the sugar grains are obviously not melted yet, which is the only flaw 😣.
🌿Uji Matcha Warabi Mochi with Matcha Ice Cream🍦 $58
Four pieces of bracken cakes are served with a scoop of ice cream 🍦, sprinkled with green tea powder and brown sugar powder. The bracken cakes have a soft and chewy texture, and are also rich, and the overall taste is good 👍!
🫘White Jade Red Bean Matcha Jelly $42
Use three ingredients: matcha bracken cake, red bean paste, and white jade, and sprinkle with brown sugar powder. Since I don't like red beans, I only ate matcha jelly, which has a high concentration☺️ and tastes like jelly.
🥚French caramel custard with vanilla ice cream🍦 $58
👍The custard is excellent, the caramel is crispy and fragrant, there are vanilla seeds in the custard🥰, and it is also full of egg fragrance😍, the taste is smooth and tender, the price is not expensive, and the cost performance is high.
🍵Matcha Latte $50
I haven't tried it, but my friend said it's average🫢 and the price/performance ratio is average😐.
