[2025 Wellington Restaurant] Travel Guide for Aro Cafe (Updated Apr)

A well done cup of drip coffee is not widely available in kiwi land. However, I started finding it in more places recently. I had prepared a list of specialty coffee shops and roasteries in London. This has topped the list by giving me an outrageously delicious, fruity, and aromatic cup of coffee. I fell in love with their coffee and kept coming back. Aro cafe looks great. Inside is very clean and well presented, and the outdoor garden is very nice, with murals and lights. Could be a good venue. Only feedback to the team is to clear tables more frequently, as there were a couple unattended and I see past reviews speak on this as well. Good atmosphere. Their vegetarian meals are so nice. Also it's also a really good place to just in and have a beer. They have a really nice outside sitting area which is nice in the summer time to sit in. #newzealandtrip #localfood

Staff are friendly and helpful. The cabinet has an extensive range including cakes, slices, sandwiches, burritos, salads, toasties, & more (NF/GF/DF/VEGAN options) Ordered two Greens Benedict's from the menu (one Dairy free) and they were amazing, definitely recommend it! (Even substituted the hollandaise sauce for a yummy DF aioli). #newzealandtrip #couplestrip #thingstodo
