[2025 Chatan Attraction] Travel Guide for Araha Park (Updated Jan)

On the way to Okinawa Zoo & Museum today, I accidentally came across Araha Park (Araha Beach), a niche beach park. 🕙Opening hours: Free entry 🚉Transportation: Take bus No. 63 from Naha Bus Terminal and get off at Hamby Town, JPY 760💴 🌟Highlights: There is a public beach in the park. Araha Beach is 600 meters long. The park is full of locals and very few tourists. Since it is located in the American Village area, it feels like a Western vacation. It is also a good place to watch the sunset. 🗓Itinerary: You can visit the zoo and AEON (Chatan) on the same day.

#okinawatrip Great public beach and park , very nice kids playground. It has a small snack bars to buy simple food,local beer, water and soda. Tent rentals also for party.Lots of local Japanese, mainland, some tourist and local american. Free parking lot and 🚻 bathrooms. Nice walking area 👌. Walk from Hamby town is about two minutes. Walk from Chatan Chatan-chō baseball stadium is about ten minutes. The Dragons play spring training at this location. A drive from Naha International Airport is about thirty to forty minutes depending on traffic and time of day. Beautiful sunsets,with lots of restaurants within walking distance after sunset.
