South Korea's largest Aqua Planet is in Suwon, it's worth a visit
I have been to Aqua Planet in Seoul and Daegu. The one in Suwon is really the largest, with better facilities and animals and more species. It is about a 10-minute walk from Exit 1 or 4 of Gwanggyo Station on the Sinbundang Line. It is actually on the 1st floor of the Galleria basement and is very easy to find.
There are four to five different performances every day, including the mermaid show. The venue is larger than Seoul and can accommodate more audiences. The children are very happy and the magic show is very interesting.
On that day, we went there on a weekday and were supposed to feed the small-clawed otters in the afternoon. We didn’t get to feed them, which was a pity. They kept swimming and walking around in the pool, so cute!
The most special one is the one where you can experience the LSS equipment. LSS is the life support device of the aquarium ecosystem. You can watch and understand it up close. There is also a playground for children to learn and play. Parents can watch their children while eating in the cafe and relax.
After visiting the aquarium, we came out and saw <清水堂>. This cafe is only available in Suwon Aqua Planet. The environment is beautiful, especially with a large aquarium wall. It is a good place to check in. There may be fewer people on weekdays and in the morning, so you may want to try the drinks and desserts.
Overall, it is a good place to spend half a day or a whole day with children or friends. If you come to Suwon, you might as well come and have fun.
