Forest Amusement Park Series PART🔟
When it comes to autumn maple viewing, the first place that comes to mind may be Kyoto, Japan, but in fact, in Taiwan, there is a maple paradise comparable to foreign countries - Nantou Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area. This is not only one of the four major maple viewing spots in China, but also combines suspension bridges, waterfalls, forest trails, wild stream hot springs and aboriginal culture. From morning to night, from four seasons to night, it is the kind of place that "you want to go again after visiting".
I chose to visit in mid-November. The whole park seemed to be sprayed with red, yellow and orange colors, especially when walking on the maple trail. The dry fallen leaves under my feet, and the maple leaves shining in the sun when I looked up. There was a faint grassy fragrance in the air, which was very comfortable and relaxing. Walking to the most classic Aowanda Suspension Bridge, the 180-meter suspension bridge across the Wanda Valley really made me stand in the middle of the bridge and couldn't help but stop and stare - on the left are the mountains on top of the green, and on the right are maple leaves covering the entire mountain. The wind blowing over makes people can't help but take a deep breath, and all troubles are left behind.
In addition to maple leaves, Aowanda actually has different charms in each season. In spring, there are Wushe cherry blossoms, in summer, it is a forest summer paradise, and you can enjoy the starry sky and fireflies at night; autumn and winter are the most charming seasons for maple leaves and bald cypress. If you come with children or elders, it is also OK. The park has a complete trail planning, toilets, and a sales department, and the slope is gentle, which is very friendly and easy to walk.
