Value for money: Super high, half the price of the Banyan Tree, including breakfast for two for around CNY 800. Had a quick check-in during the opening rush, the hotel's public area in Shishan Banyan Tree is quiet and peaceful, offering tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle, with a convenient geographical location for travel. Experienced the buffet at Yuechun with a friend, which includes not only a special dish area but also a seafood stall and distinctive Southeast Asian desserts. The hotel is located on Lion Mountain in Suzhou (on the edge of Suzhou city). Although it is far from the city's attractions and the railway station, there is a subway so transportation is quite convenient. The hotel is beautiful both in terms of architectural design and surrounding scenery, and it has a direct link to the Banyan Tree, so you can enjoy some of the Banyan Tree's public areas (although the Banyan Tree's public areas are pretty mediocre to be honest). The basic room is 42 square meters, which is neither too big nor too small, which is the expected standard for a hotel of this level. As it is a newly opened hotel, the facilities are still good. The only thing that can be improved is that the breakfast has few varieties. Here comes the point. Their service is excellent. From the moment you enter the hotel, there are waiters carrying your luggage to the room. All the waiters you meet in the hotel have very good attitudes. The room comes with welcome fruits, a minibar and cakes for free. When you check out, they give you two stuffed toys as a small surprise. This kind of service is really very high among the city hotels of the same level that I have stayed in in recent years. In general, it is very satisfying to spend a little over 1,000 yuan to stay in a hotel of this level during the May Day holiday. The basic rooms at 700 to 800 yuan are not expensive at ordinary times. If you find it difficult to stay in Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Banyan Tree and other hotels that cost more than 2,500 yuan, I personally feel that staying at Yuesana in Suzhou is a very cost-effective choice.

🏠Accommodation: The room is basically odorless, the reception area is large, and the privacy is very good. The hot spring pool and the room windows allow you to see outside from inside but not from outside. I had chosen sweet orange essential oil before checking in, and lit it as soon as I came in. The whole room smelled sweet. A little turtle was given as a gift when I turned down the bed. It was so cute. When you need to take a bath, contact the front desk and a staff will come to help clean and drain the water. 🍽️Food: We went to Yuechun for a buffet on the night of check-in. The price for two people on Saturday is a little bit higher, but the food quality is up to four stars, which is in line with the price, and the dishes are replenished quickly. The closing was also relatively timely. The Baiyun Restaurant had a small surprise for breakfast. The semi-buffet menu was very rich, mainly dim sum. I talked to the manager and found out that 60% of the restaurant's dishes were Cantonese cuisine and 40% were Huaiyang cuisine. There were Guangdong chefs making fresh dim sum, no wonder the shrimp dumplings were so delicious that I ate two baskets in a row. We also had afternoon tea in the lounge. It was average, nice looking but tasted just average. 🚗Transportation: The hotel has a paid pick-up service that can be booked, but it's a bit expensive, so I chose to take a taxi myself. It takes 20 minutes from Suzhou North. The Suzhou Museum West Building is nearby. It takes only five minutes to walk there from the hotel. If you walk around from the outside, it will take at least 15 minutes. 💆spa: The spa quality of Banyan Tree is always online, the technique is in place, and the strength is well controlled. After staying up late for several days, I felt relaxed after an hour of spa.😎

I enjoy browsing through the Yuechun Pavilion in the hotel, the gift shop is full of local crafts, all reflecting the Suzhou-style embroidery and other styles, filled with the unique charm and regional interest.
