See beautiful flowers at Doi Ang Khang.
Angkhang Royal Agricultural Station is the first Royal Project research station. It used to be an opium-growing area and the headwaters. It was the royal grace of King Rama IX and his vision to turn a dangerous area into a research and learning center for all Thais. His Majesty then graciously established the Royal Project to be used as a research station and experiment on growing various types of cold-weather plants, whether vegetables, fruits, or cold-weather flowers, to serve as an example for hill tribe farmers to grow these plants to generate income instead of growing opium. Later, His Majesty named it “Angkhang Royal Agricultural Station”. Due to the beauty of various cold-weather flowers, it has been developed into a tourist attraction, allowing tourists to visit the station. The main tourist attraction is Somdet Garden, which is located in front of the entrance. Next to it is the rose nursery and the flower house, which are located opposite Somdet Garden. Next to it in the center of the station is the 72nd Anniversary Chalermprakiat Garden, the Sakura Garden, the English Rose Garden, and the Angkhang Club, which is a restaurant and coffee shop. It ends at the Plum Garden and the Vegetable Collection House, which are opposite the Plum Garden.
