At the edge of Fuxian Lake in Yuxi, Yunnan, known as the 'Sapphire' of the national-level water source protection area, I was fortunate to encounter one of the few homestays in China that focus on aromatherapy as their theme, the Ander Holiday Homestay. In the characteristic homestay village of Xiaowan Village, Ander Holiday Homestay does not occupy an invincible lake view natural geographical location, nor does it have the selling point of a popular oversized room type. It is just in a quiet corner, with a courtyard that allows both body and soul to relax.
