Afternoon high tea at The Lobby of Anantara Siam Bangkok was nothing but prefect. The theme of the afternoon high tea set was called house of bloom when I went. Do take note that the theme changes every few month! The atmosphere felt like I'm in a Royal ball, with live orchestra playing from the upper floor. The high tea set was also very exquisite and they pay a lot of attention to even the smallest detail. Personally felt that there was too much sweet and too little of the savouries. Highlights: The Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is truly a 5 star experience from the second you enter the doors. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The place is centrally located where it is a short walk to train & bus station, malls, and also a nearby park. The food was exceptional all around, and they had a nice selection of many different cuisines (Indian, Thai, Chinese, Western). The spa also a lovely selection of services as well. Anantara Siam is a legendary hotel in the Bangkok area. It used to be a Four Seasons until MINOR too over the building. I arrived at 11am to check in for my stay, the staff all greeted me with huge smiles and I was presented a welcome snack and drink. My room was not ready so early and I was invited to the club lounge to wait for the room! I was served food and refreshments like fresh coconuts and before I knew it, my room was ready! To my surprise, I got upgraded to a Siam Suite for free and it was a huge surprise! Room was spacious, clean and had an old luxury vibe which I really liked! Staff were friendly, courteous and very proactive. I’ll be back just for the service itself! Check in was slightly delayed as room being cleaned but we were served the afternoon tea set. This very Thai traditional designed lounge with staff dressed in those unique uniforms was a sight to behold. The lounge cold welcome tea was delicious & we asked for a few refills each. This lounge welcome tea not on menu, but can ask the staff for it ;)

Being inside the hotel, it feels like you are completely transported to a lush forest and this is pure bliss. Returning to the peacefulness of the hotel after a long tiring day out and about shopping is an unbeatable feeling many hotels can't provide. The central area of the hotel is where you can find a koi pond and a serene garden. This is also where you eat your delicious daily breakfast. Oh and that outstanding breakfast - you get BOTH the buffet spread and a multi page alacarte breakfast menu! Try this hotel at least once and you'll keep coming back for many years to come.

Had a fabulous stay at the Anantara Siam Bangkok with their Spa being the highlight of our trip. Despite BKK’s traffic jams and heat, it was a restful oasis! Breakfast was varied though we’ve had better but being Thailand, the staff were exemplary as usual!
