#wheretogo We were at An Bang because and because we had a lot of time left but enough for another location to sightsee before out scheduled driver will arrive in our hotel to send us to Bana Hills, we decided to pick a place at the beach to have lunch and admire the beautiful beach. The easiest pick was to choose the one that looks like they had the most crowd, we had a look and like the environment, and there was a table next to the sea for us! It was so much fun admiring An Bang beach under the shade, we had ordered fish and chips for sharing, a fresh coconut and a coconut coffee. It is always nice eating fish and chips overseas, they feel like the real deal.

An Bang Beach is a beach located 30 minutes drive from Danang and 5 minutes drive from Hoi An Old Town. An Bang Beach is a famous tourist destination with a lot of hotels in the area, beach seats, beach bars and restaurants, calm waters and beautiful view. An Bang Beach is crowded all day long in any season, locals like to exercise there during sunrise and tourists enjoy spending time laying down on the beach seats drinking coconuts and enjoying their holidays. At night you can witness fishing boats at the horizon with their green lights. An Bang Beach is located in An Bang Village, half of the village is turned into guest houses and hotels now, although many homes remain authentic, after all An Bang Village has been a fishing village since the beginning of time. And because of that I recommend visiting seafood restaurants by the main entrance of the An Bang Beach. My favorite authentic restaurant in An Bang Village is Purple Lantern, it has the best Chicken Rice (Com Ga) and is run by a lovely family. Honestly, I liked this place better than My Khe Beach:) 🍀 I ate grilled scallops, cha cho, and coconut juice at a restaurant with many Korean reviews, but I really don't recommend coconut juice...... The food was delicious, but the portions were small and the seasoning was a bit strong, so please keep that in mindㅎㅎ 🍀 There are a lot of sunbeds at An Bang Beach, but anyone can use them, so I took a nap while feeling like I was sunbathingㅋㅋㅋㅋ 🍀 After that, I went to Hoi An Old Town, explored the town, spent some time at a cafe, ate rice noodles and bun cha, and took a boat ride while watching the night view!! An Bang Beach in Hoi An is a fine white sand beach like the famous My Khe Beach in Da Nang, but the surrounding area is not as commercialized as My Khe Beach. I walked slowly from the ancient town of Hoi An to the city, the Confucius Temple, and the vegetable market, and walked to An Bang Beach 5 kilometers away. There are farmlands 2 kilometers away from the city. I walked and took photos all the way and it was not until after noon that I reached An Bang Beach. The bamboo basket boats on the beach seemed to be still in use by fishermen. We had a lovely January trip to Hoi An in Vietnam. In the recent years a lot of my travels have a lot of activities and I love to experience as much as possible in a short amount of time. For this trip to Hoi An we had a very flexible schedule because we also wanted to enjoy the sun as much as possible. We were super lucky with the weather and spent most of our time relaxing on the beach. 🏨 We stayed at Aira Boutique hotel. Some friends had recommended this hotel just a few meters from An Bang Beach and we were so happy here. The hotel also had two swimming pools. 🏝️ An Bang Beach. Just a stroll from our hotel there were this amazing beach. Along the beach there are several lounge clubs that offer sun beds and chairs if we order something from their menu. We fell in love with this place called Seoul Kitchen. The staff was amazing, foods and drinks were all good. 🛶 Basket boat ride. This was one of the highlights on the trip and one of the few activities we did during our stay in Hoi An. Just a 15 min taxi ride from the hotel. We went to Basket boat cafe to have a coffee first and then they helped us arrange a boat. Super cool and nice experience. 🏮 One of the other activities we did was to go to the old town of Hoi An in the evening. Super nice with lanterns and opertunity to do boat rides on the river. Tips: for traveling in 🇻🇳 we downloaded the Grab app. We mainly used the app for transportation like an Uber. My friend and I went to Hoi An (Vietnam) for a 3-day getaway. We were looking for a tranquil and calm plan and Hoi An gave it to us. We stayed at Shala Boutique Hotel, which is only 2 minutes away from the beach. The beach is called An Bang Beach and it was clean and serene. Then, we also booked to watch the show Lune in the town and strolled around the main strip. #vietnamtrip Nice Beach with a long stretch of brown sand around. I reached there at 5 AM in the morning and to my surprise there were a lot of locals already taking a dip in the sea. It seemed like daily practice for them to take a bath in the rising sun and do some exercises to start the day with. It was a very calming experience and great insight into the local living style in that region. Tip: If you are taking a grab bike ride to the beach, make sure you arrange the way back as well, I was not able to find any Grab at 7:30 AM from the beach to Hoi An, and I had to take a lift.

They are commonly enjoyed in Southeast Asia and Hawaii, and there is a place in Hoi An that really knows how to make a great smoothie bowl. This place also operates a B&B and serves as a dining area for guests while running the cafe. The downside is that they close early at 2 PM. The cafe has a nice arrangement of tables suitable for solo visitors, couples, or friends. There are many menus, and considering An Bang Beach, it's cheaper than the places in the main area. I want to tell you about a local spa on Hoi An An Bang Beach that I personally used and was satisfied with in terms of cleanliness, service, and massage pressure.🛁 🔺Sandy Hill Spa is a place I can recommend because it has luxurious facilities but at reasonable local prices :) The waiting area on the terrace is also very clean, and the plant interior atmosphere is nice. They took care of storing my shoes in a shoe cabinet and gave me a key. The foot bath water is really rich with lemongrass, mint, roses, and lime, showing great care! The shower room is inside the massage shop, which made it convenient for me to change by myself :) ⭐️For those who have time, I think it would be good to add a body scrub or sunburn care! It is recommended if you go swimming because it provides beach sunbeds and showers. The bathroom is located inside, so you can use it. Bottled beer starts at around 1,400 won in Korean currency, and various cocktails are in the 3,000-4,000 won range. It is a brunch cafe where you can also have a simple meal. #vietnamtrip Spend the day at Dolphin kitchen and bar by the beach. IReally clean facilities. It was just what the Dr order. When we arrived we were told we get towels, beach lounge, access to shower and toilets and free wifi if you buy a drink. We spent almost 5 hrs there . Went for a quick splash in the water, non patrol beach and surf is really rough so be careful, but it was worth it . The water was just the right temperature. Around lunch time more people arrived but heard employee telling them that for 1 drink they could stay for 1 hour with all the inclusions. We were not pushed to consume more drinks or food but we did end up having more than a couple of drinks and food to go with them . Got back to hotel feeling very relaxed. We got a grab from hotel to beach costing us just a couple of AUD each way.

🇻🇳The Harmonious Hoi An🇻🇳 We had lunch at Dolphin Kitchen and Bar on An Bang Beach. Such a lovely spot with comfy seaside chairs and beautiful views of the beach. We loved the tropical vibes of this place. We were overwhelmed with the choices of food and drinks they had, so hard to choose just look at their menu🤣 So we decided we had to eat their popular dishes such as their Scallops, fresh Oysters, Seafood Fried Noodles and Iced Coconut Coffee💚 Our favorites were the Scallops—so fresh and cooked well absolutely a must order here and their Iced Coconut Coffee was amazing, you have to order that too.
