[2025 Amstelveen Attraction] Travel Guide for Amsterdamse Bos (Updated May)

Apart that it has this famous Cherry Blossom Park, it also have this massive forest with many pathways for you to explore. Most of the area covered with water and it was relaxing enjoying the view with ducks swimming around the river. You can also enjoy barbecuing in the area provided if you follow the intruction of the community (refer to last picture). Anyway, it’s definitely a place to talk a long relaxing walk. Enjoy!

I was invited by a friend one Sunday Afternoon to see this park with cherry blossom, but I wasn't able to be with them so I decided to visit it the next day to see this park. I was expecting a very large field of cherry blossoms, but it was not that much, but anyway I was also happy to see this trees since it is usually found in Japan and I am happy that they also have it here in Amstelveen in Amsterdam.
