❤Recommended reason:
It has to be said that Amsterdam is a beautiful city. I have been to this city in April and August respectively!
In August, I took a cruise with a group.
👍Most recommended:
1️⃣The houses on both sides are very distinctive. The guide said that in the 17th century, the Dutch government charged according to the width of each house facing the street or river, so the Dutch built the outermost width of the house very narrow and it gets wider as you go inside.
2️⃣Some old houses already look crooked, but the guide said that the Dutch government checks every year and says it's okay to live in.
3️⃣There are many companies operating cruise ships, you can check and choose.

Canal Cruise, the best way to explore amsterdam 🇳🇱🚤
#timetotravel
Amsterdam is a city known for its long waterways (if you look at the world map, the aerial view of Amsterdam is like that of a spider web). Therefore, the best way to explore the Amsterdam Canal is via a Canal Cruise!!
When I visited Amsterdam back in July, I booked the Canal Booze Cruise with a local operator called “We Are Amsterdam & Starboard Boats”, as the name suggests, the cruise provides free flow alcoholic drinks which is superb.
As I was solo travelling, at first, I thought it might be weird to get onto the cruise by myself. However, the operator, the guide and other passengers have proven me wrong.
The guide did a very good job at explaining the history of Amsterdam and what I can conclude after the Canal Cruise is that the Dutch were poor designers and architects. It is because they used to build houses with wood and a fire had burned all of the houses, and the same accident happened twice in history. I was also told that the “Dancing Houses” on Damrak Canal was formed because the Dutch built the houses on stilts which caused it to wobble, tilt and sink into the river.
As I was sitting next to a group of Vietnamese girls from the States, we began having conversations and I made friends with them!
The cruise lasted around 45 minutes, and I wouldn’t mind for it to be longer!!

Amsterdam Canal Cruise.
Besides providing a stunning backdrop to the city’s historical centre, floating down Amsterdam’s canals is one of the most memorable ways to discover the city's sights and attractions. Whether you’re a first-time or frequent visitor, everything in Amsterdam seems a bit more magical when viewed from a boat.
Most canal cruises take around an hour, in which you'll explore Amsterdam's UNESCO protected canal ring and discover plenty of interesting facts about the city along the way. As well as the excellent one-hour options, other types of canal cruises available include practical hop-on-hop-off services, romantic candle-lit tours, child-friendly adventures and intimate guided boat tours for smaller groups.
