The blue of the sea was amazing, and even on a cloudy day it was surprisingly clear. Everything we ate was delicious, especially the sashimi. I had heard that people who had traveled to Amami Oshima would want to go back, and it was so much fun that I was convinced. I went to Amami Oshima, a remote island in Kagoshima Prefecture. I visited a tourist spot called Miyakozaki. It takes about an hour to walk from the parking lot to Miyakozaki. The wind was so strong on the day I went that I could barely stand! There are some places without fences and some dangerous places, so please be safe! This gelato shop is directly managed by Izumi Farm, a small farm in the northern part of Amami Oshima.
