Address:
84011 Amalfi, SA, Italy
Recommended sightseeing time:

Italy, even the worst mood can be cured
Attraction Introduction: A visual feast in the corner of paradise
• Amalfi Town: As a jewel on the coastline, Amalfi Town is famous for its winding narrow streets, historic churches, and picturesque seascapes. Strolling here, every step is a view, especially standing by the sea, looking at the layered blue, you will understand what it means to 'face the sea, with spring flowers blooming'.
• Positano: Known as the 'colorful town', Positano attracts countless visitors with its colorful houses and brilliant night scenes. In the evening, walking along the cliff path, every turn may reveal an unexpected beauty.
• Ravello: Perched atop a mountain, Ravello is known for two magnificent villas—Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone—famous not only for their breathtaking seascapes but also for their exquisitely beautiful gardens, exemplifying the perfect fusion of art and nature.
Itinerary: Four-day slow tour, in-depth experience
Day 1: Arrive in Naples, take a bus or ferry to Amalfi, and spend the afternoon wandering around Amalfi Town, enjoying leisure time.
Day 2: Depart in the morning to Positano, explore the town on foot, and then opt for a boat tour along the coastline to experience the stunning caves that can only be seen from the sea.
Day 3: Head to Ravello, visit Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, and enjoy a long lunch in the town of Ravello, savoring local cuisine.
Day 4: Take a leisurely self-drive tour along the Amalfi Coast, visit lesser-known villages along the way, such as Atrani and Conca dei Marini, and return to Amalfi in the evening for a farewell dinner.
Food Recommendations: An Italian love song for the taste buds
• Seafood Feast: In Amalfi, how can you miss the freshly caught seafood? Try local specialties like grilled fish with tomatoes and olives, or seafood pasta, each bite a gift from the sea.
• Lemon Delicacies: The Amalfi region is abundant with lemons, so why not try some lemon cake or limoncello, tangy and refreshing, definitely the best summer cooler.
• Traditional Pizza: Although not exclusive to Naples, the pizza here is no less exceptional, with thin crusts topped with high-quality mozzarella cheese and fresh tomato sauce, simple yet supremely delicious.
Transportation Tips: Shuttle between the azure and the green
• Arrival: International travelers usually fly to Rome or Naples airport first, then take a train or bus to Sorrento, and transfer to a bus along the coastline to the various towns.
• Internal Transportation: On the Amalfi Coast, renting a car for self-driving is the most free and convenient way, but the roads are narrow and winding, so drive carefully. In addition, the local bus system is not as flexible as driving, but it is an environmentally friendly and economical choice.
Amalfi, a name that makes the heart flutter, a journey where the soul can find rest. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing one to forget worldly worries and just indulge in this dreamy interweaving of blue and green. Are you ready? Let's set off together to find that peace and beauty belonging to the Mediterranean.

Amalfi is the most charming coastal town in the world
Among the many coastlines in Italy,
the scenery of the Amalfi Coast is the most beautiful.
Located on the south side of the Sorrento Peninsula in southern Italy,
from Salerno to Positano, there are 14 coastal towns. In 1997, the Amalfi Coast
was listed as a 'Cultural Landscape World Heritage Site' by UNESCO.
🍀
One of the top ten most beautiful sights in the world,
together with the Greek islands, it is known as 'Paradise on Earth'. The sunset light permeates the entire sea, waves and sails,
the houses are scattered and shrouded in smoke, the crowd and vehicles on the cliff path are calm and peaceful, and the beauty is overwhelming.
🍀
There is a small town also called Amalfi.
The name of this town is also the source of the name of the Amalfi Coast.
From Positano along Salerno,
there is a bay road known as 'Lemon Street'.

PATH OF THE GODS , ALMAFI COAST
PATH OF THE GODS, ALMAFI COAST
Dari kawasan pergunungan kita menuju ke pinggir lautan … dari utara minggir ke selatan. The famous Almafi Coast, a 50-kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. Kawasan dengan tebing tinggi di sepanjang pinggir laut yang menghubungkan penempatan tepi laut yang cukup terkenal, definitely one of the most beautiful part of Italy 🇮🇹 . The not so good thing is this place can be crowded and expensive especially in peak season.
So that’s why I choose to travel on the off season and the best way to explore this region in my opinion is by foot. Terdapat banyak hiking trails di sepanjang tebing tinggi pinggir laut dengan view yang cukup dramatic di antara bandar Almafi dan Positano but I choose the most famous—the Sentiero degli Dei or Path of the Gods!
This 8 kilometres hike between the village of Bomerano to Nocella, Positano and vice versa will take around 2 to 4 hours (depending on how many times you stops to take in all the views).
So how difficult it is? It’s can be easy to moderate difficulty… you find it easy if you are an experienced hiker … which I’m not and I find it was not too bad .. BUT … bare in mind that this hike is not for everyone and never ever underestimate the risks because some of the paths are rough, very exposed and narrow with loose stones. So be extra careful with your feet.
The important thing to know is it’s much easier to start your hike from the village Bomerano (easily reach by bus from Almafi) and end it in Nocella because the hike mostly downhill.
But if you up for something more challenging you can do it the opposite way 🤷🏼♂️.
I just love hiking/ tracking along the coastline - you’ll have epic seascapes, dramatic cliffs, and epic coastal scenery. I have a chance to do a few costal hike around Europe and here are my top 3 so far :
1. Fira to Oia, Santorini
2. Path of The Gods, Almafi Coast
3. Monterosso to Vernazza, Cinque Terre

CIAO POSITANO : A CLIFFSIDE VILLAGE
#eurotrip
It was a summer during that time
After almost 20 hours journey finally reached this mesmerizing cliffside village. It was my greatest moment ever as i celebrated my birthday here overlooking the sunny Amalfi coast and relaxing at the pebbled shores beach.
The structure, arrangement of the village are really amazing. Stayed in one of the boutique guesthouse with italian decor and super friendly host was lovely as i managed to learn and assimilate with local culture and understand the culture of italian people especially positano village people.
My entire stay with the same routine, woke up in the morning, had a cup of cappucino, walking to the beach, had lunch at small cafe on the cliffside, relaxing at the beach again.
Amalfi coast always have a special place in my heart. Hopefully i had a chance to explore more on this coast in my next visit.
Ciao Positano!!

Magically suspended between the blue sky and the iridescent colored sea, the Amalfi coast seems to be born from the palette of a painter who wanted to use the warmer color gradients for creating a landscape that enchants the visitor at the first shot, giving thrilling experience and such evocative view to doubt, for a moment, it is real. It is the land where the sweet scent of lemon blossoms harmonizes itself with the most aromatic one of the Mediterranean vegetation and the acrid aroma of saltiness; where the brilliant colors of the majolica domes, bougainvillea and carnations pergolas give an evident colored touch to the typical whitewashed houses, clinging to the last offshoots of the Lattari Mounts that plunge dramatically into the sea. A vertical landscape, in short, characterized by a picturesque labyrinth of stairways and narrow alleys, connecting the two main elements of this landscape: the mountains and the sea. A continuous succession of headlands and inlets, bays and fjords, interspersed with pebbled beaches and rocks on which you can still see the ancient viceregal towers, the first bulwark of the local population against the Saracen attacks. The shift from the sea to mountain is seamless: the mountain sides were terraced over the centuries, shaped by human labor to create flaps of arable land and already compared, during the Renaissance period, to the legendary Hesperides by the Italian writer and naturalist Giambattista Della Porta. All the towns of the Amalfi coast are connected by the scenic SS. 163 road, built in the first half of the XIX century during the Bourbon period and always considered one of the most beautiful road in Italy. Following the natural course of the coastline, the route is full of curves, nestled between the rock and the sea cliffs, giving new and spectacular shots at the exit of every tunnel or hairpin bend.

Ravello is one of the most charming towns on the Amalfi Coast. It offers some of the best views of the famous coastline, with sweeping seascapes and breathtaking scenery. It is, in short, an ideal location. While the origins of Ravello date back to the Roman era, it was the Middle Ages that gave it wealth and status, when the inhabitants were involved in maritime trade with the Orient. The newly enriched families of that age built castles, villas, churches and civic buildings to show off their wealth and to rival their richer, influential neighbor town of Amalfi. Amalfitans gave Ravello the name, "Rebellum" (rebel).
The town's villas offer vivid vantage points for the views. Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo are famous for their encompassing panoramas. Villa Rufolo inspired the composer Wagner when he wrote his famed opera, Parsifal. Ravello is still known for its musical events, including the Ravello Festival, which is strongly connected to the composer and his symphonies. The town boasts its cultural roots, too; just stroll the alleyways, enjoy the architecture and piazzas to see the town's history and pride at its best.
The Cathedral, dedicated to San Pantaleo, was inaugurated in 1087. The simple facade hides a lovely church with a grand 12th century entry doors and a pulpit plopped atop six spiral columns. The cathedral's museum houses sculpture and art dating back to Roman and Medieval times. Ravello is home to the fascinating little Coral Museum of Ravello, a showcase of craftsmanship in the art of the coral jewelry and decoration. The town is noted for its devotional chapels and votives that are attached to and painted on walls all over the city. Look for them as you wander the streets.
A recommended tour is to take the bus uphill, then walk back downhill to Amalfi. There's a nice path alongside a stream between Amalfi and Ravello and it is well signed on the maps. Have lunch in Ravello and then walk off the pasta on the pathway!

I've been dreaming of Positano since I first created my Instagram. I saw photos of captivating landscapes and enchanting towns that have long inspired film-makers. With its dramatic scenery and stark beauty the journey on Amalfi coast is worth an Oscar itself, so don your shades and your headscarf, and explore this place in a gleaming vintage car and snap through the most Instagram worthy spots in existence.

• Amalfi: There are various accommodations in the town center, which are convenient for travel, and the surrounding dining and shopping facilities are also complete.
• Ravello: The environment is quiet and suitable for tourists who like a quiet atmosphere. Some homestays also have viewing terraces.
6. Travel Tips
• Plan your itinerary in advance and arrange your stay in each town reasonably to avoid rushing.
• Prepare comfortable shoes, as you will be walking on the cobblestone streets of the town and may need to climb hills.

The Amalfi Coast is a breathtaking blend of dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters, and charming villages. Positano’s pastel houses and Ravello’s gardens are postcard-perfect. Driving along the winding coastal roads offers jaw-dropping views, but taking a boat trip allows you to see the beauty from the sea. The region’s limoncello and seafood dishes are exceptional. It’s a slice of paradise worth every moment.

Amalfi from Italy 🇮🇹I cheerful living
#europetrip
Dear friends, Italy really focuses on a comprehensiv e
"beauty without blind spots"
especially Amalfi (f
which has been wildly cultivated by pictures recently.
It is indeed one of the recommended attractions by National Geographic. Although Italy has many coastlin es, there is really no other place that can captivate me at first glance except for it. I can't imagine living here would be cheerful~
If you think it's just the beautiful coastline of Italy I, then you're shallow because it's also one of the natural heritage sites. Not only does it have magnificent sea views, but it also has beautiful & towns and southern specialty cuisine. Most people consider it an unavoidable destination for couples on vacation or honeymoon because its synonym is romance;
However, its coastline is quite winding, with only one land route (40km long)
• What can I see in the small town? In addition to the sea view, it is also the main building and central area of this small town: the cathedral men, located on dozens of steps, can be seen from afar when entering from the sea, and the church bell tower stands tall, which is also an indispensable part of taking photos

The town of Amalfi
The Amalfi coast has many famous places that draw people from all over the world such as Capri, Sorrento and Positano. However, one that is often overlooked is the town of Amalfi itself.
Found on the peninsula’s south coast, we found it to give both dramatic scenery and highlight what life is truly like along the Amalfi coast.
One of the must see places here is the medieval Amalfi cathedral and the stunning Arsenal of the maritime republic with its two large stone built halls #voyagevibes

🍋[Recommended Check-in Spots]

🍋You must buy the local specialties: lemon wine, lemon soap, lemon perfume, lemon chocolate, lemon cupcakes, etc. Years later, you can still remember the fresh taste of this lemon-scented town😜!

🇮🇹Couple’s getaway to Almafi Coast
#coupletravel
Our couple’s getaway to the Amalfi Coast was nothing short of a dream come true, epitomized by breathtaking sea views from the dramatic cliffs that define this iconic Italian destination. Staying along these vertiginous heights provided us with an unparalleled perspective of the Mediterranean’s dazzling blues, where the sea met the sky in a seamless expanse.
Each morning, we awoke to the sound of the waves crashing against the rugged coastline, and the sight of the sun glistening off the ocean was our daily spectacle. Our accommodation, perched on one of the many cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, offered a private balcony that became our own little sanctuary. From here, we indulged in the panorama that stretched infinitely, enjoying leisurely breakfasts with a view that seemed as though it was painted just for us.
Venturing out, the charm of the Amalfi Coast unfolded through its serpentine roads and quaint villages. The vibrant colors of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello’s houses, set against the dramatic cliffside, were visually stunning. We explored these towns hand-in-hand, navigating narrow, cobbled streets that opened up to reveal the vast sea beyond, offering new vantages that were each more breathtaking than the last.
Dining by the sea was another highlight, with local restaurants serving fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes that were a delight to the palate. Each meal was accompanied by the soft murmur of the sea and the serene vistas of the vast waters extending beyond our table. It was during these moments, with the picturesque sea view as our backdrop, that we truly felt the romantic magic of the Amalfi Coast.
As the day drew to a close, nothing compared to watching the sunset from the cliff’s edge. The sky turned into a canvas of fiery oranges and pinks, reflecting on the water’s surface, while the cooling sea breeze whispered around us. It was a daily show that we never tired of, each evening unique and spectacular in its display.
Our trip to the Amalfi Coast was an enchanting experience from start to finish. The combination of stunning seascapes, intimate moments, and the natural beauty of the cliffs made it an unforgettable romantic getaway. For any couple looking for a destination that offers both natural beauty and a chance to deepen their bond, the Amalfi Coast stands out as a spectacular choice.

The Idilic Amalfi Coast
Well the Amalfi Coast really does live up to all of the hype. What a beautiful stunning place, everywhere you look there are pockets of nature and classic Italian architecture. The Amalfi coast just seems to get better and better the more you drive through it.
As soon as we landed in Naples airport we hired a car around 200 metres down the road. We stopped at Pompeii on our way to where we were staying at Massa Lubrense and my only complaint is that we did not have enough time to see everything there, you could easily spend a whole day there.
Once we settled in to our place we spend a day out at a cove with the bluest water I have ever seen then travelled up to Amalfi to get some gelato and relaxed with a drink at the beach. That night we travelled to Sorrento for pizza and it was outstanding, the nightlife was also impressive for a Sunday night!
The next day we travelled to Pianillo to do a 3 hour cooking class where we made Mozzarella, fresh pasta and tiramisu which was an amazing meal experience which I would definitely recommend. We left there very well fed and had plenty of wine all for the small price of only £50 per head! We then spent the rest of the day and night in Positano which genuinely looks better in person than in the photos you see on Instagram! Although Positano was generally more expensive than elsewhere it was certainly worth it for the experience.
We all loved every second of our time at the Amalfi Coast. We spent 4 days here but if we were to do it again we would come for 6 days minimum to ensure we got to do everything we wanted, we would have also loved to have hired a private boat to go to Capri but just didn’t have the time. The Amalfi Coast has been 10/10 would definitely recommend. #amalfi #amalficoast #pompeii #italianfood

No one can resist the Amalfi lemon-flavored summer
The summer on the Amalfi Coast does not disappoint me.
Rated by the BBC as one of the 50 places to visit in a lifetime✨
The Mediterranean summer not only has blue skies and a sea like glass,
but also a screen full of sweet and sour lemons🍋
.
💛How to play in Amalfi?
The Amalfi Coast mainly features two small towns, Positano and Amalfi! The former is larger, famous for its colorful houses on the cliffs against the blue sea, truly a fairy tale town~ Many movies🎬 have been filmed here. The town of Amalfi is smaller, with the main attraction being the Amalfi Cathedral. Beware of the lemon🍋 ice cream at the alley entrance; it costs 15 euros here, while it was only 6-8 euros in the pricier Capri🥲
.
🧡What else is there to do around?
Both towns are not far from Sorrento and Capri! Sorrento has lower prices, so if you want to save money, you can stay in Sorrento for two nights like we did. It's also convenient to take a boat from the pier to various places. Capri is more fun~ The cable car🚡 to the top of the mountain and the garden courtyards are worth checking out~ Plus, it's a great place for shopping in old money vacation spots⛱️. The shopping street is small but has all the major brands, making it easy to shop without getting tired. I casually bought a Braccialini opera bracelet and a gardenia ring😆. Oh, and if you stay in Sorrento, it's also convenient to visit the ancient city of Pompeii! Just a 1-hour drive away~
.
⛱️Tips
1️⃣ Not recommended to drive yourself, as the coastal routes are narrow and have many cliffs. It's hard to drive if you're not familiar with the roads; if you want to go out to sea, you can bargain for a boat, and do your homework.
2️⃣ There are many pebbles on the beach, and many slopes, so choose comfortable shoes.
3️⃣ Pay attention to sun protection! Pay attention to sun protection! Pay attention to sun protection! It's best to bring your own sunscreen! The sunscreen bought in Europe is oily and sticky🤣
