[Bangkok] 4 days of the classic course
2024/6/13-6/16
Day 1
Departed at 9:15 on AirAsia from Narita 🛫
I think we arrived at the destination around 15:00?
💕Hotel: Aloft Bangkok Sukhumvit 11
📍Address: 35 Soi Sukhumvit 11, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110 Thailand
💰Price: 40,500 points for 3 nights
※I honestly regret using my points here lol
After checking in
To the Platinum Fashion Mall I wanted to go to!
We headed there by motorbike taxi.
It's so big that you can't go back, so if you see any clothes you want, I recommend you make an immediate decision on the spot.
By the way! Be careful because only cash is accepted⚠️
I was hungry, so I ate at the food court in Platinum Shopping Mall and called it a day.
Day 2
I got up early in the morning and headed to a certain place~🏝️
Yes! My favorite remote island
💡Koh Lan💡
It's been 10 years since I last visited Bangkok, so I didn't know much about the traffic situation, so I pre-registered for all the shuttle boat tours.
I took plenty of motion sickness medicine
After 20-30 minutes of being shaken by the violently swaying speed jet
I arrived at Tawaen Pier from Pattaya
Oh, I also did parasailing and snorkeling on the way🤿
The first thing I did after arriving was eat
💕Store name: Mare Beachbar&Restaurant Kohlarn
📍Address: 195 Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri 20150 Thailand
💰Average price: Includes day trip to Koh Lan
I was excited to play on the beach afterwards, but...
I got exhausted from the heat, so I lay down on the beach and spent 2 hours drinking a bottle of Smirnoff, and before I knew it, it was time to go home lol
Then, I had some trouble on the way back. Thailand's biggest traffic jams
On the way back to Sukhumvit
The shuttle car got hit from behind🚗
Since we were going through a tour company
I asked them to arrange a taxi for us
I got safely back to the hotel by taxi.
(I was worried because the driver tried to get me to talk to a customer who was speaking English over the phone even though I didn't understand or speak English)
I was exhausted from the heat so I slept a little
Tonight I went to the night market🌉
💕: Jodh Fairs Night Market
📍Address: 15 Rama IX Rd, Huai Khwang, Bangkok 10310 Thailand
💰Average price: Cash only (forgot)
I can't eat spicy food so I ordered "non-spicy"
And here I had trouble again.
The heat was so bad I couldn't eat my food lol
I got takeout and headed home quietly
It was too spicy.
Day 3
I was planning to meet up with a Japanese friend who was arriving in the afternoon🥰
However, I was exhausted from the heat and almost died, so I spent the morning relaxing at the hotel.
We met up and went to the rooftop bar we wanted to go to🍸
💕: Akara Sky Hanuman Bangkok
📍Address: 548 One City Centre, 58fl.-61fl, Phloen Chit Rd, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330 Thailand
💰Price: 2 drinks and 2 food items for about 3-5,000 yen
Everything is so cute〜〜🥰
To eat Kara's
Moo Gat.
(I just checked and it was closed)
Finally, I went home for a massage.
Because the next day...
Day 4
The day to go to Pink Ganesha and Wat Paknam, photogenic spots!
This is also a long way to go on your own, so I booked a tour in advance.
It's so hot! The temperature felt like 40 degrees 🥵
Finished in the morning, ate dinner, returned to the hotel, changed to late check-out, took a shower, and headed to the airport ✈️
What I learned this time was
🔥 Be sure to take precautions against the heat!
It would be a good idea to bring some powdered Pocari with you.
In fact, if I hadn't brought any powdered Pocari, it would have been over.
It was a relaxed solo trip, so next time I'd like to go around some stylish cafes and restaurants and do some shopping.
