It is a different feeling. But the disadvantage is that the sky is cloudy and it gets dark very quickly. It starts to get dark at 3-4 p.m., so I tried changing my mood to Switzerland in the summer and enjoy nature in the light until 3-4 p.m. It is worth both the view and the time. I visited Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, and Grindelwald in Switzerland in March this year! Switzerland was my first time traveling abroad and traveling alone, so I was very nervous. In Switzerland, Swiss German and German are mainly used, but I can't speak German, let alone English lol, so I basically used a translator, but it was a breeze! In Switzerland, if you buy the "Swiss Travel Pass" in advance, you can ride basic trains and buses as much as you want during your trip! As an exception, mountain trains and ropeways are half price, so it costs a little. However, it's really easy because you don't have to buy tickets every time! Lastly, about security. I don't remember being scared of security in the Bernese Oberland area that I visited! On the contrary, I remember him being very kind, helping me when I didn't know how to get a ticket for the ropeway! There were no homeless people and the city was clean with no graffiti or trash! The Schilthorn (2,970 meters) is one of the summits in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland that can be reached without hiking up the mountain. It took us 2.5 hours to get to the Schilthorn, where the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant is located, starting from Interlaken train station and involving multiple train, bus, and cable car rides. We first took a train from Interlaken OST to Lauterbrunnen, which took approximately 20-25 minutes. From Lauterbrunnen, we boarded bus 141 to Stechelberg, the starting point for a series of four cable car rides to the summit. We purchased the cable car tickets online in advance to avoid the queues. The ticket cost CHF 42.80 per person with the Swiss Travel Pass (usual price CHF 108). The intermediate stations included Gimmelwald, Mürren, and Birg. The cable car ride offered impressive views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and surrounding peaks. In addition to Spy World museum, a new and larger exhibition, called "007 Walk of Fame", was opened in July 2015 on the Schilthorn ridge to pay tribute to the cast and behind-the-scenes contributors to the iconic James Bond movie. The Walk of Fame consists of 15 information panels featuring George Lazenby, who played James Bond in the film, and members of the film crew. Each panel features a photo, signature, handprint in steel and a personal message. Walking on the ridge was quite a challenge especially during winter due to the strong wind and heavy snow. Piz Gloria got its name from a James Bond novel and is well known as the film location for the 1969 Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". From October 1968 to May 1969, the Schilthorn was the main filming location for the movie. Located at the lower floor of Piz Gloria, Spy World houses a James Bond exhibition containing memorabilia, film clips and interactive displays related to the film. We managed to catch a glimpse of the original screenplay and even got to sit in the bobsleigh used in the film. The ticket was promoted for its highlights such as round trip ticket, spy world and cinema, walk of fame and thrill walk at station Birg. I bought my ticket at the counter in Murren and I’m expecting to enjoy all the activities as promoted. There is no notification at the counter nor inform by the staff that there are closure of some of the activities. After I reached the submit of the Schilthorn, I only get to know that the walk of fame was closed. Thereafter, I only know that the thrill walk at station Birg was closed too. Paid for the full ticket price and didn’t get to experience all the activities, is disappointed. If I know the main attractions were closed, I would not pay for the ticket. They should put up a notice if the activity is close. I want to travel to Hong Kong for their culture and food.

Stechelberg is part of the Lauterbrunnen valley, the entrance to the upper valley. Then we took a walk beside Parking Stechelberg to enjoy the nature, river and waterfall. There’s a place for you to barbecue too if you wanted to do so. We had a pleasant walk around that area before we take the cable car to Gimmelwald. You also can take the cable car to Murren. I want to travel to Hong Kong to explore a different culture, nature, and food.

Jungfraujoch is the most famous mountain in Switzerland. If you join a tour group, Interlaken is a more convenient town to go to Jungfraujoch. It is located between two lakes. First, the Sphinx Observation Deck is the highest outdoor observation deck on Jungfraujoch, with an altitude of 3571 meters. The elevator to the observation deck is very fast, and it only takes 27 seconds to get to the observation deck. Due to the changeable weather, sometimes it is snowing heavily, and sometimes it is sunny. You can wear short sleeves 😂, but sometimes you have to be fully armed. From the viewing platform you can see the famous Aletsch Glacier. It is well worth it to see the majestic grandeur of the largest glacier in the Alps.
