Suzhou Spring Walking Tour | Stroll through this 300-meter alley for a relaxed ancient city vibe!
If you only have half a day to explore Suzhou, I strongly recommend spending it at Dinghui Temple Lane! This short alley, less than 300 meters long, is home to the Wuwang Bridge from the Southern Dynasties, the Tang Dynasty's Dinghui Temple, and the twin towers of Luohan Temple from the Northern Song Dynasty. Of course, there are countless treasure shops offering delicious food and drinks. Follow my list and enjoy a condensed version of little Suzhou⬇️
🚶 Walking route: Suzhou Tourist Information Center (Fenghuang Street Station) → Dinghui Temple → Wu Zuoren Art Museum → Luohan Temple Twin Towers → Wuwang Bridge → Twin Towers Market.
👉 Suzhou Tourist Information Center (Fenghuang Street Station)
Yes, you read that right, the tourist information center at the entrance of the alley is a fun place itself, with a 1️⃣ floor coffee shop, a 2️⃣ floor bookstore, and a 3️⃣ floor twin towers viewing spot for checking in. It's absolutely superb☕️
👉 Dinghui Temple
The late cherry blossoms in spring and the ginkgo in autumn make this ancient Tang Dynasty temple beautiful in every season🌸
👉 Wu Zuoren Art Museum
You can 🆓 visit Mr. Wu Zuoren's paintings by making a reservation on-site, and you can also take close-up shots of the beautiful twin towers🎨
👉 Luohan Temple Twin Towers
Although only some stone pillar relics remain from the Luohan Temple of the Northern Song period, the twin towers have been well preserved after continuous restoration and reconstruction.
👉 Wuwang Bridge
At the end of the bustling alley, there is an inconspicuous stone bridge. One end is connected to Dinghui Temple Lane, and the other end leads to the popular Twin Towers Market. This stone bridge is the Wuwang Bridge from the Southern Dynasties‼️
🥢 After a long walk, if you're tired and hungry, just eat and drink along the way⬇️
👉 Wanfuxing (Fenghuang Street Store)
The time-honored dim sum shop indeed offers unbeatable value for money, with 2.5r green dumplings and 10r Suzhou-style meaty noodles. Who needs a bicycle🚲
