Unexpected Delight at Alkion Hotel in Greece

While we stayed in Kriopighi, Greece, at a charming boutique hotel, we decided to explore the neighborhood. Strolling around, we stumbled upon the Alkion Hotel. The name was familiar as they also gave a bar at the local beach near the sea. To our pleasant surprise, we discovered that spending a day at their swimming pool was free of charge. We decided to stay for a while and were immediately captivated by the quiet family atmosphere and the stunning view over the Aegean Sea. The facilities were excellent, with a shower, toilets, chairs, sunbeds, and a watchful eye of a lifeguard. There's also a nice little restaurant and a bar with a pool table. For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious Greek salad and gyros, which came with a tasty tzatziki dip, French fries, and pita bread. It was a perfect meal to complement our relaxing day.
