Summit Lodge has a restaurant indoors, as well as picnic tables and chairs and a children's playground outdoors, making it suitable for both young and old to linger. Take the gondola up to the middle of the mountain and be sure to cross the suspension bridge. If you look down, each step will be dizzying, but if you look too far away, you will be afraid. Really cool hotel in a cool area but the key thing to note is do not book if you are noise sensitive you can hear everything at night. It was tough to sleep here because of doors slamming AC and hearing the sounds next door. Besides that good place that is centrally located to everything in the town (shops bars and restaurants). Another tip you can not park on the Main Street overnight

The route I'm introducing today is the Stawamus Chief Trail in Vancouver Squamish. I rarely go hiking, and I read online that this trail is the easiest, but when we got there, we found it to be devilishly difficult for us. The entire trail is basically climbing stairs and reaching the top of the mountain, there's hardly any flat road. It's really hard for beginners to climb to the top of the mountain. But the scenery up there is indeed very beautiful. I can only say that it was a good experience, but I don't think I'll do it a second time. 😂😂

I recommend this mountain to everyone. If you don’t like crazy climbing stairs, don’t come. This is a 5km trail, but it is very tiring to climb more than 500 meters. You have to climb up and down to the top of the mountain. It is not an easy route at all. It took us about 3-4 hours to go back and forth, including rest. It was very tiring. We kept climbing stairs along the way.

Getting There - located about 45 minutes outside of Vancouver in a car. However everyday there are multiple shuttles from the waterfront in Vancouver directly to squamish. This can be booked through the “squamish connector” very reasonably priced and drops you off right outside the gondola ticket center. Attractions - A short 10 - 15 minute gondola right up and you are greeted with the most spectacular views of squamish and surrounding mountains. There are multiple different trials to suit your needs, whether you want to hike or just stroll around. During the winter time they offer snowshoe tours, and even tubing (snow dependent). Hotels - Sea to Sky Gondola is located about 10 minutes away from downtown squamish which offers a range of different hotels and air b&b. Food & Restaurants - At the top of the Summit once you have rode the gondola or hiked up is a lodge which serves both hot and cold food. 10 minute drive away is downtown squamish which has multiple restaurant and fast food locations. Shopping - Downtown squamish offers a unique range of shops, the majority of which are small businesses all run by locals. The gondola itself has two retail stores with items made by locals people to squamish. This hotel is decently located at downtown Squamish. Free parking is available with a lot of spaces. Hotel staff is friendly but they are always busy. The room is big enough for two yet the TV is small. Amenities are small as well. But it’s a good for value hotel overall.

The sea of clouds is light, a high altitude viewing area Since we like to experience the pleasure of riding in a cable car, my friends and I bought tickets for the Sea to Sky Gondola and prepared to have a look. It was still early morning when we arrived here, so there was still a light feeling of haziness inside the entire park. First we walked all over and saw that many trees were growing in rows, and when we lowered our heads and sniffed we could smell the fragrance of the grass. Because we arrived so early we could even see the drops of dew on the grass, and felt the morning coolness. Our main aim was still to ride in the cable car and look at the scenery. After we rode up to the top we discovered that we originally were very close to the sea of clouds, and it seemed as though if we stretched out our hands we could touch the water vapor enshrouding us. It was cloudy so it seemed that the entire cable car was surrounded by cloud mist. When we looked down we could see a small lake inside the park, and we could also clearly see the stubborn trees growing between the cliffs swaying with the wind. When we finally reached the lower mainland, we decided to climb and better feel the refreshing air while going down the mountain. The entire mountain forest had places that were flat and others that were winding; it was very steep when we looked down at some places, and the irregular stones that protruded made it impossible for me to resist reaching out my hand to touch them.
