Ubud Alaya Resort|Rural Style
Alaya Resort Ubud is located in the heart of Bali, at Jl. Hanoman, Ubud. The location here is great. You can walk to the monkey sanctuary and quickly reach Ubud Market. There are many restaurants and shops around, making shopping very convenient. It is very convenient to take buses and taxis. There is also a kurakura bus stop next to the resort, which can save you travel expenses🚌.
The style of the resort is very Balinese, with two swimming pools and beautiful gardens🌸. The reception was very friendly and check in was fast and efficient. The rooms are spacious and our room has a balcony overlooking the rice fields, which is very pleasant. The room is fully equipped with a minibar, Wi-Fi and an electric fan, and the bed is large and comfortable. However, the bathroom is not very soundproof and has little privacy.
The few days I stayed at the Alaya Resort in Ubud were really relaxing. I especially enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony every morning. Facing the fresh field scenery, my mood improved. There is not only a buffet here, but also a la carte service, and the a la carte breakfast is particularly good 🍳. The afternoon tea provided by the resort is also delicious 🍰, and the hotel also provides free water and towel services.
If you are travelling with children like we were, you might want to be aware that the ramps and steps at the hotel are not the most convenient. This can be a bit challenging when traveling with a stroller. We reported this problem to the hotel, and they very considerately arranged a room for us close to the lobby. The service was really great👍.
Living here, there are many attractions around, you can go to the Monkey Forest, walk to Ubud Palace in 15 minutes, and visit Ubud Market. There are also many restaurants nearby, such as Ambar Ubud Bar and Kaukau Restaurant, both of which are worth trying 🤤.
The only downside is that the bed in the room is a little soft. I don't particularly like beds that are too soft, but this may be a matter of personal preference. Also, the resort is sometimes undergoing maintenance or upgrades, which may cause some noise. However, overall, the service and environment here make people feel that it is worth the money. This stay experience was very good and I highly recommend it to friends who come to Ubud, especially those who want to enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday🛏️.
Staying at the Alaya Resort in Ubud made us feel the true mountain style and hospitality of Bali. We are looking forward to visiting again 💚.
