[2025 Sendai Stay] Travel Guide for Akiu Grand Hotel (Updated Jun)

I highly recommend a self-driving tour in Sendai, especially driving to the hot spring area in Akiu to enjoy the beautiful scenery, delicious food and hot spring water. The hotel also provides buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. The food selection is very rich and very local to Sendai. At the same time, the hotel offers a morning market selling local specialties, which is a perfect end to this five-day trip to Sendai.

On the first day, we stayed at the Akiu Grand Hotel and started with a one-night stay and two meals. The breakfast was more cost-effective than the dinner, but it is not recommended to order more beef tongue. The next day, we stayed at the JR East Hotel to go shopping at the station. The second floor bridge connects to the station and is very convenient for shopping. On the third day, we drove to Morioka and stayed at Roynet, which was also very convenient next to the station. On the fourth day, in order to visit Sendai Izumi, I stayed at Golden Park Hotel. The overall CP value is very high and the breakfast is also delicious

#Hotel review Atmosphere/Facilities: The hotel is very spacious and has a wonderful view of the waterfall behind the glass!
