Tokyo is not just bustling; enjoy moments of relaxation.
Many people think of Tokyo as a bustling and noisy city, but it actually has a peaceful side as well. 🌇 When you stroll down the streets under the blue sky and white clouds, all you feel is relaxation and enjoyment. ☁️ In such weather, walking through the streets of Tokyo, you will discover another side of the city. There is no busy pace here, only tranquility and leisure.
The ramen is still delicious. This time, I didn't go to Ichiran. On a rainy day, I got soaked in Omotesando and rushed into a roadside ramen shop called 'Ore-ryu Shio.' While wiping my wet hair and clothes, I fiercely ordered a ramen and gyoza combo, a guilty pleasure full of carbs.
Shibuya is still crowded with people, and it remains the busiest intersection in the world. People of different skin colors from all over the world cross paths, leaving behind their turning backs. The bustling, lively atmosphere of the city has come back to life.

The Mecca of Otaku, Akihabara

When it comes to the virtual world of 2-D, nothing beats the Japanese anime production which is the best in the world. And to fully immerse onto it, Akihabara is the very place as the Mecca of the Otakus ( which means a person super obsessed to virtual world who never or seldom comes out from it). The whole stretch of street mainly comprises of themed based anime shops, glass case for those who wishes to sell their goods and merchandises, and figurines shops for hard core fans. There you can also see many cos-players mimicking characters from animes, and the street is completely closed for vehicles on weekends. Besides, there are also maid cafes operating at various corners for those who wanted to have the experience of being served by waitresses dressed in "maid" costumes.

AKIHABARA… Fun town with cosplay
Akihabara is the most colorful town of Tokyo. Here is the center of cartoon, figure, game and everything in a Japanese fashion.
It is not far from either Ueno or Tokyo station. I believe you can walk from both side and along the way there are many small shops to visit.
Also you can easily take a train which has a lot of route pass this station.
You can buy every electronic equipments, game and sometime there will be cosplay or concert around here

Anime streets at Akihabara
The district of Akihabara has an area that is well-known to have many anime stores selling all sorts of tan merchandise. It is also not uncommon to see a number of cosplayers walking around here so that was quite an interesting sight to behold. On top of the usual restaurants and cafes, you can find “maid” cafes, where female wait staff dressed up in maid costumes.
Even if you are not an anime fan, you can still enjoy the arcade and claw machines that are abundant in supply. But the main aim is to experience the anime culture and lifestyle of the people and places that make up this unique district!

Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵
Been to Japan for a few days. It's really a great experience for me. I went to a lot of places in Tokyo (Akihabara, Asakusa, Shinjuku) + Kyoto. Nice people, nice view, and nice environment. Their hospitality is really good, they are really helping even though both of us have language barriers. Am planning to go again probably next year 😅 (or 2024). There are still a lot of places I wanna be.

There are plenty of great eating places as well.

Akihabara Tokyo's Electric Town
Famously known as Tokyo's 'Electric Town', Akihabara is an eclectic mix of discount electronics and geek culture that attracts many people from all around the world. With its gigantic billboards advertising everything an anime-lover could want, when it comes to things to do in Akihabara, indulging your inner geek is a must.
The Akihabara district specialized in household appliances in the 1930s, but is now more associated with Japan's otaku or fanboy culture. The neighborhood combines its roots in electrical goods with anime-themed cafes and hobby shops. Shoppers will marvel over the wealth of quirky shops selling everything from novelties, games, toys, comics, cosplay and manga.

Akihabara is known as the world leading electronic district and home to Otaku culture. It’s the best place to witness the underground culture of Japan and shop high-tech gadgets. From geeky spots to historical sites. With plenty of electronics available at low prices as well as figures and toys from anime, manga, and games it's the perfect place to find cool Japanese gifts. The streets of Akihabara are lined with numerous arcades and game centers where visitors can have fun playing crane (UFO catchers) and arcade games—the retro classics and latest releases. In addition to home electronics, Yodobashi Camera Akihabara also offers brand-name fashion, as well as a food court located above the main store. With plenty to see and buy, it is easy to spend all day in this building located conveniently in front of Akihabara Station.

Tokyo, Akihabara, Japan, hh/, come to Akihabara, of course, to do JR, but when you leave the station, remember not to go mad~ You will get lost, the best exit is the direction of the electric street, you can finish the route well. Akihabara, but it has not been out of the station, it has been attracted by the full of gashapon machines. There are four models of blue fat and twisted eggs. It is very lucky to spend all five times and all of them are gathered together. The price of the gashapon is from 100-500. I dont wait, there is a mini food stall in the station, just look at the price of the neon country.

A sacred place for animation and video games, Akihabara is one of the most popular areas for serious gamers. The anime over here is beautiful and extremely detailed with the culture transcending to the way locals dress and behave as well. Every girl here is dressed fashionably and there are cosplayers at every corner of the streets. It is truly a paradise for anyone looking to enjoy this electronics hub in Tokyo. You can find some of the best video games along with second-hand trading places where you can bargain as well. There are some spots that sell rare games as well.

Speaking of Akihabara, many otaku rotted women who love the second-yuan culture will not be unfamiliar. At the beginning, it was a street of electrical appliances. Nowadays, the popularity of various animation shops and video game stores has made this place famous. From the exit of the Electric Street in Akihabara JR Station, these huge billboards on both sides of the road will definitely bring a huge impact to your senses.
Here, you can buy the legendary hand, the price is not as terrible as I thought, probably the store has specially picked some cheap and attractive outside. It is said that here, the shop is not working, because each shop has different hands, there is almost no similarity, so it must be taken on the spot, hesitating a few minutes and coming back, may be bought. .
Of course, you can't forget that this place is an electrical street. Nowadays, although it has been overshadowed by the home rot culture, it is still the first choice for many people to buy electrical appliances. These large and small electrical stores are usually mixed between the animation products stores. Before you go in, you can take a look at the in-store promotional advertising. Electrical products can still be compared to three. After all, there are some brand categories, each of which is playing a price war. If you have enough time, don't worry about it.
The most famous electric city here is the Friendship Eighth, which can be seen from a JR station. The 9-storey, 6-story home appliance giant on the ground is staggering in both product type and quantity. In addition to the cameras and peripheral products of various brands, it also involves various home appliances such as computers and TVs. The brand is very complete, but I have not visited enough for two times!

The Electronic market
#markets
Another addition to the list of many amusing places in tokyo is the electronic town of Akihabara. It is like an electronic market. Akihabara is the hub of the city's geek culture. But people of other interests too visit this place. It's very fascinating and does get quite busy. The market has an energetic atmosphere with people out to shop at one of its highly specialised, multi-level shopping complexes, whether it's for high-tech electronics and gaming gadgets, or manga and anime merchandise.
There are huge arcade centres where you could lose the whole day just playing games and winning prizes from the claw machines. However, there's much more to Akihabara than electronics stores and pop culture. You'll find beautiful shrines, excellent restaurants and stylish bars that make this neighbourhood worth exploring deeper.
Here are the places we recommend for a perfect day out in Akihabara. I love trying out the katsusando vending machines every time I am here. Also within walking distance is the kanta shrine. A beautiful shinto shrine is more than a thousand years old. There is plenty to do and see in Akihabara that you won't realise how time passes.

LOVE IN TOKYO, BLOOM IN FUJIYAMA
Visiting Tokyo and Fujiyama was an unforgettable adventure. In Tokyo, we marveled at the bustling Shibuya Crossing, explored the serene Meiji Shrine, and indulged in sushi at Tsukiji Market. The neon lights of Akihabara and the tranquility of Ueno Park offered contrasting experiences that highlighted the city's diversity.
Our trip to Fujiyama was equally magical. Capturing moments with the background of Mount Fuji was breathtaking, with views that felt like a reward from nature itself. We soaked in an onsen, surrounded by cherry blossoms, and the peacefulness was unmatched. These moments, a blend of vibrant city life and serene nature, made our journey extraordinary.

Akihabara Arcade | The joy of this building
The joy of this building. Besides figures, Akihabara is of course synonymous with video games.
I discovered a whole building dedicated to arcades, which gets the restless heart of gamers high with excitement.
📍Located in Akihabara, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo Hey
Floors 1-7, each level offers different gaming experiences:
1️⃣st floor: Claw machines
2️⃣nd floor: Claw machines, arcade games
3️⃣rd floor: Dance machines, music🎵 type machines, arcade games, etc.
4️⃣th floor: Fighting games, racing🏎️ games, arcade games, etc.
5️⃣th floor: A huge variety of music games, like dance machines

7️⃣th floor: Café, merchandise, and more
Here, you can start playing by directly inserting 100 yen coins, and most games start at 100 yen. No worries if you don't have change; there are change machines available.
⚠️You can easily spend a whole day here🤣 I alone spent an hour just playing dance machines, not to mention the other gaming attractions.

Players under 16 must leave before 6 PM and are not allowed to enter, while those between 16 and under 18 must leave before 10 PM and are not allowed to enter.
Additionally, players under 18 will have some restrictions on the types of games they can play.
