A big surprise on the trip to Chiang Mai: the champion cafe of coffee beans in northern Thailand
The city of Chiang Mai is so literary, with coffee shops and art galleries everywhere, as well as endless internet-famous stores. In short, it is a leisurely and suitable place for checking in. Even if you don’t visit any attractions, you can still check in endlessly every day.
I went to Akha Ama on purpose before leaving for the airport on my last day. The location is in the ancient city, around 11:00 am on Friday, and there were a lot of people. When we went inside, we found that there were not many Chiang Mai locals, and most of the people there were foreigners living in Chiang Mai. Many people order a coffee, pick up a Mac, and start writing or editing videos. They are obviously digital nomads.
The drinks provided in the store are not too complicated. They are divided into three categories: Italian coffee, hand-brewed coffee and tea. In addition to hand-brewed coffee, there is another list of beans to choose from. For Italian coffee, you can choose Medium roast or Strong roast beans.
We ordered an iced Americano and an iced latte. The coffee tasted very rich and was amazing from the first sip. I don’t know if it’s a psychological effect, but I feel so happy that I can drink locally produced coffee beans in Chiang Mai. When I left, I bought a lot of souvenirs.
I remember that the coffee here starts at 60 Thai baht, which is quite affordable compared to Hong Kong. The comfortable seats and the refreshing coffee make it a good choice for replenishing caffeine in the afternoon and supporting the local small farmers in northern Thailand. If you come to Chiang Mai, remember to go there~
