The most beautiful Hotel Indigo in Japan
Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Garden
A newly opened boutique hotel by IHG that stands out in its design, service, and Japanese atmosphere. The backdrop is Inuyama Castle, a national treasure, and Urakuen Garden, home to Jo-an, one of Japan's most famous teahouses, is right next to the hotel.
Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Garden is located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, just a 30-minute ride from Nagoya Station by Meitetsu train. The hotel just opened in March 2022 and has 156 rooms in total. The hotel's design is inspired by the culture and history of Inuyama City, combined with the signature modern and stylish style of Hotel Indigo, giving it a modern Japanese feel. It caters to design lovers and is perfect for relaxation. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere of the hotel, the hotel's facilities are complete, including a fitness center and a large onsen that are free for guests, "Indigo Home Kitchen Yamateras" that serves food and drinks all day, and breakfast for guests.
For the guest rooms We will start with the 35 sq.m. Standard room, which is the largest room in the hotel. The Standard room has different views, including Inuyama Castle, Kiso River, Urakuen Garden, and Suite rooms, which are 51 and 70 sq.m., the largest and most expensive rooms in the hotel. The room we stayed in this time was the Standard River View room, which has only 2 rooms per floor. The highlight is that you can see the Kiso River and watch the sunset from inside the room. Since the hotel has only been open for 1 year, everything still looks new. The equipment in the room is modern, including a Smart TV, curtain and lighting controls in the room. The bathroom is divided into a shower room and a toilet (no bathtub). Inside there is a separate walk-in closet. The interior decoration of the room is in line with the hotel's theme, both Japanese and the use of beautiful colors. I guarantee that you will definitely take beautiful pictures. For the Yamateras restaurant, we used the service for both dinner, which was served as an a la carte or set menu. There were many Japanese dishes, pastas, salads, and steaks to choose from. Breakfast is a buffet line with salads, pastries, various drinks, and a main course for each person to order 1 set. You can choose Japanese or international breakfast. We chose the Japanese set, with grilled fish as the main dish, rice, and side dishes, all beautifully decorated in Japanese style.
The hotel's highlight is the Onsen, which is large and luxurious. Guests can use the service for free. The Onsen rooms are separated for men and women. Inside the Onsen, there is one indoor hot spring pool and one outdoor hot spring pool, as well as a cold spring and sauna, which is considered complete and meets the needs of those who want to relax and soak in a hot spring in a hotel like this. For those who love to exercise, there is a fitness room on the 1st floor of the hotel, near the entrance to the Onsen, open 24 hours a day.
From my experience staying at Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Garden, I must say that it exceeded my expectations in terms of service, beauty of the place, and overall atmosphere. This is another hotel that we would like to recommend if anyone is visiting Nagoya and is looking for a comfortable place to relax not too far from the city center, at an affordable price. I assure you that this place will meet your needs for relaxation.
