#February2025 Belgrade, this small town full of retro style, seems to take you back to the 1990s. Walking on the streets, Gothic beauties and leisurely pedestrians can be seen everywhere, forming a beautiful picture. Here, pet dogs are also a beautiful landscape on the streets. They are gentle in nature and add a lot of warmth to the city. We chose the Eden garden suites hotel located on Da Gong Street in the city center. The room was clean and soundproofed, with a small balcony, enough space, and the bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas. There are all kinds of dining and shopping around the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel staff are also very friendly to tourists, providing thoughtful service and patiently answering customer questions!! The hotel is not expensive, the price/performance ratio is OK, it is worth recommending.

Kalemegdan Fortress, built during the Ottoman Empire, is one of Serbia's first officially declared cultural monuments. Located at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, 'Kalemegdan' translates to 'fortress battlefield.' Kalemegdan Fortress is considered one of the best-preserved urban fortresses in the world. An ancient fortress, a witness to history. Kalemegdan Fortress, more accurately described as a stronghold, features numerous gates within its walls. Alongside the massive stone walls, you can find weapons like cannons and tanks left over from World War I and World War II. As a former important military base, the fortress bears the marks of different eras, including the Roman, Ottoman, and Austro-Hungarian Empires. It's definitely worth a visit!

#February2025 Abba Hotel is a 4-star hotel located in Belgrade, Serbia. The hotel provides comfortable accommodation and high-quality services. It is a good choice to choose this hotel. The hotel is decorated in a modern and simple style, and the overall feeling is clean and sanitary. Although the room area is not large, it is still comfortable. The wooden floor design and huge windows also ensure indoor ventilation and lighting, and the bathroom is also separated into dry and wet areas. Although the twin room has two small single beds, the bedding is quite comfortable. The hotel has complete supporting facilities, including a restaurant, lounge and small meeting room. It is located in the city, and there are many places for shopping, dining and leisure around it. Finding food and drinks is definitely not a problem. The hotel service staff is also very friendly, smiling, and attentive. I like their service awareness. The hotel is not expensive and has a great value for money. Surrounded by the faint scent of candle wax and the quiet hum of prayer, we felt humbled. From there, we wandered to Knez Mihailova, Belgrade’s vibrant pedestrian street. The air buzzed with life: locals chatting over coffee, street musicians playing lively tunes, and the aroma of fresh pastries drifting from nearby bakeries. We browsed a tiny bookstore overflowing with well-worn volumes and paused to watch a street artist sketch portraits. Every step revealed another layer of Belgrade’s charm. Then came Kalemegdan, and we weren’t prepared for the sheer scale of it. Perched above the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, the fortress felt timeless. We walked along the ancient stone walls, taking in the view of the rivers merging below. The sunset cast the sky in hues of orange and lavender, and for a moment, it felt like the city was at peace. The Nikola Tesla Museum added another layer of awe. Stepping into Tesla’s world, we marveled at his personal belongings, patents, and letters. The interactive exhibits were mesmerizing—watching electricity spark from a Tesla coil was like witnessing magic. It was a reminder of how one man’s brilliance still shapes the world today. Our final stop was the National Museum. Inside, we wandered through centuries of history and art, from delicate Roman artifacts to masterpieces by Serbian and European artists. | Is Belgrade worth visiting? If it weren't for the need to buy a plane ticket, I wouldn't even know the name Belgrade. The Sava River splits Belgrade into two, with the classically elegant old town on one side and the modern new town on the other. However, the alleys present a different scene, with quaint old houses and mottled walls, exuding more of an Eastern European charm. ✨To capture the iconic photos, one must wander through the streets to find the highest point of Zemun—Gardos Tower, where you can have a 360-degree view of the town's red roofs and the winding blue Danube in the distance. Zemun is on the south bank of the Danube River. You can take a bus from Belgrade, just search on Google. It takes over 40 minutes to walk from the Moscow Hotel where I stay. I went to the monument of the Chinese Embassy in former Yugoslavia early in the morning. The former embassy has now been converted into the China Cultural Center. It was built by Shandong Expressway Investment and is now mainly a hotel with staff responsible for cultural exchanges sent by the Shandong Provincial Government. During this year's Spring Festival, they organized a team, including lion dance, snacks, handicrafts, and traditional handicraft demonstrations, to tour Serbia like a temple fair. I flew with them on the same plane, and we met in Belgrade and Novi Sad, which was very lively.
