Lune Croissanterie: Melbourne's Culinary Paradise That You Can't Resist
In Melbourne's culinary paradise, there is a place that captivates me, and that is **Lune Croissanterie**! Every time I step into this croissant sanctuary, my mood instantly brightens because each croissant here is like a delicate piece of art that I can't get enough of.
The excellence of Lune's croissants is entirely due to their relentless pursuit of craftsmanship. Each croissant is meticulously crafted over several hours, with each layer repeatedly rolled and folded to achieve an astonishing level of flakiness. When I bite into the golden crust, the burst of crispiness is irresistible, as if I'm indulging in a feast for the taste buds.
Lune's croissants are not just traditional butter croissants; they also offer a variety of tantalizing innovative flavors! From rich chocolate croissants to sweet almond croissants, each flavor is a new surprise. Especially their seasonal flavors, which always bring a different kind of delight, making every visit feel like a new discovery.
Besides the delicious croissants, the ambiance of Lune's store is equally captivating. The stylish decor and relaxed atmosphere allow me to quietly enjoy my croissant and coffee, as if time stands still here. Sitting by the window, savoring a croissant and watching passersby, is an unparalleled pleasure.
Moreover, Lune Croissanterie enjoys immense popularity on social media! Whether on Instagram or other platforms, you can always see foodies sharing their beautiful croissant photos. This makes me look forward to each visit even more, knowing that I will taste some of the best food here and share this joy with friends.
In short, my love for Lune Croissanterie is beyond words! The croissants here are not just food; they are a form of art that brings me happiness. I highly recommend every friend visiting Melbourne to experience this irresistible deliciousness! Trust me, you will fall in love with this croissant sanctuary just like I did!
[Melbourne CBD] Are Lune Croissanterie croissants worth the long queue?
📍Lune Croissantie Melbourne CBD
Lune Croissanterie, located in Melbourne’s CBD, was recommended even by the New York Times, so I went to line up to try it. I have to say that after queuing for 45 minutes to buy it, the expectations were naturally very high.
However, after eating I felt a little disappointed and not as stunning as I imagined. The croissant was indeed well done, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, but it didn’t feel particularly outstanding, maybe because the expectations were too high. In-store card payment only dine-in no seating is standing dining
Triple Choco AUD11.5 🌟🌟🌟
Almond AUD11.5 🌟🌟
Kouign Amann AUD9.5 🌟
Overall, Lune Croissantie is still worth a try, after all, it is also a famous store, but if I had to wait in line for such a long time to buy it, I might not. Suitable for those who want to try something new, but don't have too high expectations.
After dinner, you can check out the nearby graffiti alley Hosier Ln

A Coffee
#australiatrip
A Coffee is a Korean style cafe with a very stylish white interior! When I was in korea, I saw this cafe in seoul I remember it being very similar to melbourne A Coffee.
Happened to walk past Acoffee and was glad I paid them a visit. The cafe itself had a nice clean modern minimalist aesthetic and the staff were really friendly. They specialise in pour over coffee and have a number of supplies available to buy. I enjoyed the espresso sunset but wish there was less ice!
When I visited A Coffee Melbourne It was very wide and has a big roaster machine. Plus, friendly baristas!
I especially like the long table at A Coffee center It shares space between the barista area and the customer area. Two time I visited I study for about 2hours It’s so comfortable that I can focus very well🫡
Unfortunately I’ve only tried long black, flat white so far, but next time I want to taste their specialty coffee!

Marion Wine N Bar
#australiaroadtrip
For our first dinner out as a family, it had to be one of our perrenial favourites- Marion.
The food is solid, whether its the seafood small plates or the more substantial mains. You also can't go passed the baked pasta.
The drinks list is killer. I'm pretty sure they share a cellar with next door sister venue- Cutler & Co. We're partial to their cocktail and vermouth selection.
Service amazing from start to finish. I booked 3 weeks out & could only get bench seating. But we were seated at kitchen so had full virw of the kitchen which was entertaining! Atmosphere was fantastic. And where to begin with the food. Octopus toast stand out, but tiny, so order more than one. Vodka pasta sensational. Whole flounder was an absolute delight. Also ordered cold dish entrees of mussels, which was exceptional. Topped off with choc terrine & flan for dessert.
Location : Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia.

Thieves Coffee
#australiaroadtrip
They are a wholesale coffee supplier. They engage with consumer and source and curate specialty coffee.
Fitzroy’s Thieves coffee, which I visited seems to operate as a showroom. The shop wasn’t very spacious but it looked very clean and sophisticated. It felt like I was seeing a super trendy cafe in korea:)
When I went to the back of the cafe. There was a really big warehouse. There were also many coffee supplies and bean!
I ordered a Long black and had a great conversation with the barista. We talked a lot about coffee, our home countries, and our current situation.
With just Long black I heard and experienced so much. This is why I often visit cafes and why I believe in the powerful impact of a single cup of coffee☕️

Melbourne's chicest city 🎨✨
If you love art, hip and full of cool cafes, Fitzroy is the place to be. This is a place where you can find cool street art, indie coffee shops, secret bars and many vintage shops. [Fitzroy] A stylish one-day plan
About 20 minutes by tram from Melbourne Central. Introducing Fitzroy, a fashionable town perfect for shopping❣️
📍Pidapipó Laboratorio Fitzroy
I heard a lot about their pistachio gelato, so I stopped by and got a super-sized gelato🤣It was my first time to try it, as it was so big that it was heavy to hold the ice cream😂It's very rich and delicious, and it's vegan, so it's great that many people can eat it!
📍Fitzroy Market
An open-air market held on Saturdays and Sundays. There were about 20 stores lined up, selling vintage clothing and miscellaneous goods. It's very pleasant on a sunny day.
📍The Rose Street Artist Market
This is also a market held only on Saturdays and Sundays. Handmade products are lined up. You can purchase handmade goods filled with attention to detail directly from the creators, so it's sure to be an unforgettable item☺️
📍Seven Seeds Coffee Roasters
To have a snack. It's about a 10-minute tram ride from Fitzroy. It's a popular shop with a lot of customers. I ordered a flat white, and it was very delicious ☕️
📍Lost and Found Market
A second-hand clothes and miscellaneous goods store. You can experience the excitement of a treasure hunt!
📍Hunter Gatherer Fitzroy
A second-hand clothes store. There were a lot of cute clothes!
📍Patagonia Fitzroy Outlet
Patagonia outlet store. You can buy a jumpsuit for 8,000 yen, and a sweatshirt for 5,000 yen. It's very cheap, so I ended up buying a lot 🤣
📍Cheaper Buy Miles
A discount supermarket. Items that are close to their expiration date are sold at bargain prices. I bought yogurt and drinks for breakfast here!
A town with many cafes and second-hand clothes stores. You'll loosen your purse strings.
It's a very nice town, so be sure to visit it when you travel to Melbourne!

A walk through Melbourne's Seongsu-dong and Fitzroy
Fitzroy, Melbourne’s Seongsu-dong
If you were to pick the coolest neighborhood in Melbourne, Fitzroy would definitely come to mind. It is similar to Seongsu-dong in Seoul. Between old buildings that have been there since long ago, stylish cafes and unique shops are located, and as you walk along the streets, you can sense a unique artistic sense everywhere.
Fitzroy is a place where Melbourne’s artists and creators gather. The endless graffiti and murals on the walls of the streets catch your eye. Looking at the graffiti that changes every time, you think, “This neighborhood is new every day.” The vintage shops and small galleries hidden in every alleyway make you feel like you are on a treasure hunt.
A day in Fitzroy is always a time to experience art and culture. Walking around the vintage market with a cup of coffee in hand, browsing the pages of a small bookstore, and drinking beer at a local pub in the evening. All of these moments make you feel the atmosphere of this place even more deeply.
If you want to spend a special day in Melbourne, Fitzroy is a great choice. This free and sensual neighborhood will add new colors to your trip.

🇦🇺 Croissant restaurant LUNE in Melbourne, Australia

🇦🇺 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
🥐 LUNE Croissanterie fitzroy
I finally visited LUNE Croissanterie, which is often mentioned when searching for Melbourne travel. There are 3 branches in Melbourne, so you can search on the map and go to the one closest to you. I visited in the morning, and there were a lot of customers, so I had to wait about 10 minutes to order. However, the croissant came out within 1 minute of ordering, so I was able to eat it right away.
I ordered an almond croissant, and I thought it was expensive because it was over 11 dollars for one croissant, but I didn't regret the money when I saw the generous amount of almonds.
I took a bite, and it was crunchy and soft inside, and it was really delicious. And there was something like nut jam inside, but it wasn't too sweet, so it was just right.
If you're traveling to Melbourne, you must try the Rune Croissant 🥐🧡
There are standing tables so you can eat while standing, so I ate there. Since most people usually take it to go, there were plenty of seats left at the standing tables.
Amazing food
The table service was on point and outstanding in every aspect. Clean, measured, unforced dining featuring urbane flavour profiles that were something special. They also have an extensive wine list to choose from. The sirloin was cooked on the rarer side which I prefer but understand that it's not for everyone. The bearnaise that came with the sirloin was stunning - creamy and not too tart.
The potatoes were cooked really well, just soft but not to the point of mush, also the sauce on that was spectacular. We also opted for the wine pairing which was matched perfectly and unique. The staff's attentiveness and the restaurant's ambiance added layers of delight to an already fantastic dining experience. We will definitely be returning for a second visit.

Melbourne | I spent an afternoon in Fitzroy looking at graffiti.
On the first day I arrived in Melbourne, I couldn't wait to follow Jay Chou to check in at Hosier Lane (Hosier Lane). It was really disappointing. The graffiti in the narrow alley was really average, and I could smell the garbage. 🤦🏻.
At that time, I thought that Melbourne's graffiti culture was nothing more than this (not as good as M50 Creative Park in Shanghai), until I came to Fitzroy‼ ️
.
Take the No. 11 tram from CBD for more than 20 minutes to reach it. The destination is set to The Fitzroy Mills Market. I thought I could catch a set or something, but there was no one there, but the high-quality graffiti all over the place really surprised me. 🤩.
.
The road is blind and I don’t know how big Fitzroy is. I started from the market and made a big circle. I didn’t let go of the small alleys. I collected a lot of favorite graffiti~
As for the world's best croissant shop recommended by everyone, I reported a silk, and I didn't pay attention at all. 🤪.
Best Mel trip ever!!!
I really love Melbourne cuz of the vibe and architecture that created such a beautiful and artistic city!! I went there with my parents and they loved that too! We had so many great coffee and pastries and my favourite one is LUNE croissant!!!!!!
I personally think Melbourne is better than Sydney like the cleanliness, architecture and such.
Highly recommend to give it a visit to Melbourne!!
Fitzroy, the most popular neighborhood in Melbourne that you must visit

Melbourne 🇦🇺 Delicious food and great atmosphere wine bar
🔸️ Australian Melbourne wine bar `Marion`
📍 53 Gertrude St, Fitzroy VIC 3065 Australia
✔️ A wine bar with a great atmosphere in Carlton
✔️ A place frequented by locals, so reservations are essential
✔️ The food, including the crispy outside and soft inside flatbread, pasta, and steak, is all delicious and goes well with wine

Lune, a buttery, crispy almond croissant with a chewy texture 🫶
🔸️ Melbourne, Australia Fitzroy `Lune Croissant`
Lune Croissanterie Fitzroy
📍119 Rose St, Fitzroy VIC 3065 Australia
✔️ Almond Croissant that you must eat at least once when you visit Melbourne (the downside is that you can't finish it after eating it once..🫠)
✔️ Since the city Lune is said to have a long wait from the opening,
If you have the right route, it might be a good idea to go to Fitzroy Lune. I was lucky enough to get in without waiting😌
✔️ All the bakery items are famous for being delicious,
but the almond croissant is the best menu!
✔️ Buttery-flavored, layered, crispy style croissant. If you like something light and full of flavor, I recommend Plain / If you like something savory and sweet, I recommend Almond 🫶
The price is a bit expensive compared to Melbourne's prices,
but when I tried it, there was a reason why I waited in line and bought that much 😉

Melbourne Fitzroy 🥪 A hip atmosphere donut & sandwich, toast restaurant
🔸️Hector's Deli, Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australia
📍111 Moor St, Fitzroy VIC 3065 Australia
✔️ Not a touristy place, but a local place!
Actress Shin Se-kyung also visited😯
✔️ You can order donuts, sandwiches, toast, coffee/drinks, etc.
✔️ The exterior of the red brick building with posters + graffiti,
When you enter, you feel like you're in a foreign countryㅋㅋ
That kind of hip atmosphere 😉
✔️ It was different from the toast I used to eat in Korea,
but the crispy texture of the toast and the fillings went well together
✔️ They say the pickle & beef toast is the best menu,
I personally thought it was a bit salty,
and the mushroom melt was more delicious😋
✔️ If you want to eat something fresh and healthy,
I recommend FRESH (sandwiches)
✔️ The glazed donuts were surprisingly delicious☺️
It pairs well with coffee
I went twice during my trip, but if I go to Melbourne, I'll go there again🫶

[Melbourne] The world's most delicious croissants: LUNE
LUNE
The world's most delicious croissant shop in Melbourne 🥐
You'll be queuing from the time the shop opens, so it's best to go a little early.
A croissant costs about 700 to 1200 yen, and it was the best croissant I've ever had!
You can also buy coffee ☕️
Melbourne must eat croissants 🥐
There is always a queue at this famous croissant shop. Not only are they delicious, but the bags and boxes are also very beautifully designed. On the road, you can see everyone holding a big bag. Each queue takes about half an hour. Although there are many people, the queue is fast. There are also many different flavors to choose from. If you don’t want to eat it right away, it is recommended to take away the original flavor or unfilled #Melbourne# croissant
The best croissant in the world
It was worth waiting in line for more than an hour for the croissant 😍

[Patagonia] Sunrise over Fitz Roy
I went to see the first sunrise of 2024 at Meiho Fitzroy!
I went there hoping to take a photo in front of Fitzroy in a Patagonia T-shirt, but when I actually got there, no one was there.
I was moved to see the morning glow at Fitzroy!
Fitzroy can be reached from El Chalten, but if you are camping, you can get close to Fitzroy, but you have to climb the mountain with your camping gear on your back. If you go from the city, the trekking distance increases significantly. I took the latter route from the hostel, but I had to arrive at sunrise, so I left the hostel at 1:30 and arrived at 5:30. However, it was quite difficult to go on a mountain trail I had never been on before in pitch darkness with only a headlamp. If you rely on signs and your intuition, you will get there.
I also went to Laguna Torre, so it was a 13-hour trek to the hostel. It was the most tiring trek of the day trekking, so I don't really recommend it. It might be good if you want to rest all day the next day.
