#tripแจกโรงแรมฟรี
🙏Wat Ko Walukaram is a temple for the people, belonging to the Mahanikaya sect. At first, the area around this temple used to be an island in the middle of the Wang River. Monks often came to live and use it as a place for ascetic practice. Later, when the sandbar was built up, the island became one with the land.
🏕This temple was founded in 1887 by merchants, merchants, and wealthy people who built houses in the Chinese market area and other places because this area had shops and trading areas along the entire road. Most of the shop owners were from other provinces, both foreigners and Chinese people, who came from Bangkok, Nakhon Sawan, Kamphaeng Phet, or Tak. When they settled here, they helped build and support the temple. There is clear evidence of this, which is the Central Thai-style sala, where the doors, windows, and ceiling panels have the names of all the donors. The ancient sites and artifacts in the temple include:
🙏Phra Phuttha Jayanti, celebrating the 2600th anniversary of the enlightenment of the Lord Buddha, is enshrined in front of the temple.
🙏Bronze Buddha statue in the attitude of subduing relatives, enshrined in the pavilion around the chedi on the east side.
🙏The golden bell-shaped chedi in Burmese art, built around 1917.
🏰The chapel combines Thai, Lanna and Burmese art. There are no windows, but there are doors around the chapel. Inside, there are murals by Puan or P. Suwannasingh (Suwannasingh), a Lampang artist and sign maker. The paintings tell the story of the past of Wat Ko Walukaram, the life of the Buddha and the Ten Lives of the Buddha.
🏰The old sala, a wooden pavilion decorated with fretwork in the Central Thai style. Although Lampang is in an environment influenced by a combination of Lanna and Burmese art, the abbots of the temple from the past to the present have all been from the central region. Therefore, the pavilion with high pillars was built to prevent flooding. It was built around 1917.
🏰The four-footprint pavilion is a replica of the Buddha's footprint carved from marble from Mandalay. Myanmar
🏰Reclining Buddha Hall or Reclining Buddha Image, the Buddha image of those born on Tuesday
🙏Phra Phuttha Maha Muni Si Saeng Thong, a golden Buddha image in the Chiang Saen Singh One style, sitting cross-legged in a diamond position, weighing 12.8 kilograms, 9 inches wide and 13 inches high, or 845 baht, enshrined in a Thai-style pavilion
