Several coffee joints complement the laid back atmosphere of a Sunday afternoon. Those looking for a treat can head to the Tokyo-based Michelin starred kaiseki restaurant, Narisawa, which has landed an outlet in 1000 Trees. #chillandthrill A Thousand Trees in Shanghai is honestly one of the coolest places I’ve seen. It’s this huge building complex covered in actual trees, like a vertical forest right in the middle of the city. I’ve never seen anything like it! The concept is all about blending nature with urban life, and they totally nailed it. I spent a couple of hours just wandering around, checking out the different shops and cafes inside, but what I loved most was just the vibe of the place. It’s super modern, yet somehow feels really calming with all the greenery. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re in the future but also connected to nature at the same time.
