Oriental Kopi Citysquare
#wheretogo
Follow me and I will bring you to feasting at Oriental Kopi. This is super popular place to dine at Malaysia. They keep opening new branches and the queue to enter is always super long. Now they have an outlet at JB Citysquare and it is easier for weekend feasting for Singaporean day-trippers. This outlet is located at the basement, and they accept Touch n Go e-wallet and card payments. You can sign up as their member and get an instant 5rm off and collect member points. Try to order their iced coffee or tea and you might receive a mess, the drinks will overflow onto the saucer plate but it is meant to be like this. If you order their juice, the ice will be added outside instead of inside the drink to prevent it from losing the original taste.

My visit to Oriental Kopi was a flavor-packed adventure into Malaysian culinary bliss! Located in [location], this spot combines the charm of a traditional kopitiam with a menu that sings with local favorites.
First up, the Char Kway Teow 🍜: Wok-tossed perfection! Smoky noodles, crunchy bean sprouts, and plump prawns danced in a savory soy sauce — street food magic!
Then came the Prawn Mee 🦐: Broth so rich, it's practically a hug in a bowl! Tender pork, springy noodles, and those juicy prawns — every spoonful was a taste of Malaysian soul.
Of course, I couldn't resist the Nasi Lemak 🍛: Fragrant coconut rice, fiery sambal, crispy anchovies, and that perfectly runny egg — a symphony of flavors!
The Ban Mee 🍲 was next, handmade noodles in a flavorful broth that warmed my belly and my heart. Comfort food at its finest!
Dessert stole the show with their famous Egg Tart 🥧: Flaky pastry embracing smooth custard — each bite a sweet melody. And the Limited Edition Taro Egg Tart 🍠? A delightful surprise with its creamy taro twist!
Washing it all down with their renowned White Coffee ☕️ was a must. Bold, aromatic, and the perfect partner to my culinary journey through Malaysia.
Oriental Kopi isn't just a restaurant; it's a love letter to Malaysian flavors. I left with a full belly, a happy heart, and plans to return for another round of deliciousness! 😎

Rating - This Malaysia Chinese-hainanese style chain eateries have very wide selections of food and drinks to choose from! Hainanese traditional drinks like teh-, cham cham(coffee w milk tea mix), soya bean w grass jelly were all not water-down and have that nostalgic taste! Foods have traditional toast like Kaya butter bread, polo chewy bun, highlights are really the duper rich flavour butter! Mains like curry noodle, curry chīx dry mee Siam, fried chīx lemak, fried rice etc all also well executed. Both hot and cold Desserts like rice balls in ginger soup, mango sago, red bean, blk sesame etc also can be found on their extensive menu. All in all this eatery definitely worth visit after visits till now we've yet to try out their full menu despite visiting for 4 separate occasions already. Cheap pricepoint well executed traditional hainanese drinks, well-flavoured mains and it's savoury butter toasts, we cant't ask for any better! Strongly recommended !

Finally try the Oriental Kopitiam in KL
#wheretogo
Oriental Kopitiam is a popular Kopitiam in kuala Lumpur starting from midvalley outlet. they are variety of food choices inside the restaurant . the most famous egg tart was so great, you shall try it.
we try the famous Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah , the nasi lemak is so creative it come with the soft boiled egg instead. when you break the egg and mix with the rice , the rice become so good . too much spice for the Ayam goreng which is not my favourite . I like the nasi lemak but not the Ayam goreng.
the drink was so good but too expensive , one Teh Ice cost about rm10.00. the drink abit overpriced.
overall good one just to try at least one. it’s located inside Midvalley near to the central court at LG FLOOR.
opening from 10am to 10pm.

Delightful lunch at Oriental Kopi

Delightful lunch at Oriental Kopi
For our meal, we decided to try a couple of the restaurant's signature dishes. The first was the prawn mee, a classic Malaysian noodle dish known for its flavorful broth. The prawn mee at Oriental Kopi did not disappoint. The broth was rich and aromatic, and the prawns were cooked to perfection. It was a comforting and satisfying choice.
Next up was the dry mee siam, another Malaysian favorite. The dish was a pleasant surprise, with a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. What truly stood out was the addition of fried chicken. The crispy and succulent fried chicken was a delightful accompaniment to the mee siam, adding an extra layer of texture and flavor that elevated the dish.
To round off our meal, we couldn't resist trying the thick egg tart. It turned out to be a wise decision. The egg tart was wonderfully creamy with a delicate, flaky crust. Each bite was a burst of rich, eggy goodness, and it left us thoroughly satisfied.
In summary, my lunch at Oriental Kopi was a delightful culinary experience. The prawn mee and dry mee siam were both delicious, but the fried chicken in the mee siam was a standout. And the thick egg tart was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. If you're in the mood for some flavorful Malaysian dishes with a twist, Oriental Kopi is definitely worth a visit.

Oriental Cafe, SouthKey, Johor Bahru
Oriental cafe at Southkey mall, Johor Bahru. There is always a queue throughout the day. They are famous for their egg tarts and you’re to purchase a minimal of two. Food is tasty but payment at cashier is slow. We always start queuing up while letting others finish the last bit of their food. I tried the Mee Siam with Chicken Rendang and it was delicious. The peanut butter toast is yummy and remains crispy even after some time. Food arrive pretty fast considering the crowd.

Oriental Kopi Yummy Food & Drinks 😋
Oriental Kopi is quite a well known restaurant name in Malaysia Johor Bahru. They serve authentic Malaysian food fare and their mains, desserts and drinks are amazingly good. You will not fail to see a bee's line always at Oriental Kopi. It's so good that people are willing to queue for a table.
For mains, I had their curry chicken noodles, hainanese chicken rice and penang fried kway teow. The food were flavourful and on point. From presentation to taste, it was excellent. For drinks, we had their iced milk tea and yuen yang (coffee & tea). We liked that the drinks were milky and had a bubbly milk froth on top. Desserts/snacks, we had their famous egg tarts and condense milk polo bun. Their egg tarts were flaky and you can even buy a box home. Overall, the food were not expensive yet service was great and everything was delicious. It was just the way I like, you should try it too! Merchandises sure as coffee packs and noodle packs are also available for sale.
