Bohemian Bliss: A Day in Plzeň

If you are looking to explore the true essence of the Czech Republic, then you must visit Plzeň (Pilsen), which is a city on the western side of the country. It takes around 1hour 30min to get here. The Pilsen Source Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in the Czech Republic and has been producing beer since its inception in 1842. Learn about the raw materials for beer brewing, brewing houses from different centuries and the most modern beer production lines, with bottled facilities of up to 120,000 bottles per hour. It is worthwhile to enjoy a bottle of perfectly processed Pilsen beer at the birthplace of the beer.

St. Bartholomew's Church, a Gothic church, was built around 1295 AD. It used to be a church until 1993, and the towering Gothic spire was 102 meters high. It is the tallest tower in Bohemia. It is also the most famous landmark of Plzen. After climbing the summit, you can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the city panorama or even the outskirts the gothic image of the Virgin Mary and the beautiful stained glass windows.
