Later, we hiked to a higher vantage point, where we were rewarded with a stunning aerial view of the entire park, showcasing its intricate network of waterfalls and lakes. I came to Croatia for the first time when I was a kid🇭🇷This country is called Yugoslavia. I was very impressed by the 16 Lakes National Park. I came to PLITVICE LAKE National Park in October and found that the tickets purchased on site were only 10 euros. Why did I buy them online first? 23 euros😡There is also a limit on the number of people, which is even more outrageous. Plitviče Lakes National Park fell short of my expectations in terms of grandeur & magnificence, but the entire 295-square kilometre forest reserve in central Croatia is still a natural beauty. Encompassing 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls that extend into a limestone canyon, we only had time to set foot on some of the numerous hiking walkways across the water. As it was a Saturday, visitors to the national park were aplenty and we were thankful that chaos didn’t ensue along the crowded & narrow walkways. At 78 metres high, Veliki Slap is the highest waterfall in the national park and we made sure to view her first before hopping on an electric boat from the lower lakes to the upper lakes.

I went to Plitvice Lakes National Park! The lakes are so beautiful! Especially during the tourist season from May to September, tourists come from all over Europe, so reservations are required, so make sure to make a reservation at least two days in advance. There is a ticket counter on the day, but you need to reserve a time, and there is no guarantee that tickets will be available. Tickets are 40 euros during the season. Too expensive... When I actually visited, I was moved by the magnificent scenery of nature. . . It was truly beautiful. I really enjoyed hiking. There are various walking courses, you can ride a boat, and there are also restaurants, so the sandwiches you eat while looking at nature couldn't be bad! It was a truly unforgettable European trip.

There are many beautiful lakes in the world, but one of the most popular is the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a World Heritage Site in Croatia. When I first visited this place more than 15 years ago, I was able to enter with a same-day ticket. However, a new system of online advance reservations has now been introduced. When I tried to buy a same-day ticket at the site without knowing, I was restricted from entering, and there was no room for people with same-day tickets to enter from the popular gate... At that time, I remember having to move to a slightly inconvenient gate to enter. (Once you enter, you can go around the whole place, just from a different starting point.) Online ticket reservations and purchases were introduced in 2019. It's not that you can't enter with a same-day ticket, but you have to line up for a long time, which is a waste of time, and in the summer, there is a risk of heatstroke in the hot sun. Even so, it was still a beautiful water world where fairies seemed to live. It was impressive to see so many families with dogs. Day 13 of road trip. Took a 2.5 hour drive from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The entrance fee is 28 euro for family of four. I think it’s well worth it, the view at the entrance is already spectacular. We took route B and it was a beautiful walk from start to the end. What’s interesting is along the walk u can see ducks and other small animals like rabbits if u r sharp enough. Definitely a must go if u are in Croatia!

The picture really don’t do it justice. Plitvice Lakes national park is truly one of the most beautiful natural spots in all of Europe. As you climb through the forest along Wooden platforms the sights of water cascading alongside you from all angles truly takes your breath away. Whilst here it’s often hard to escape the crowds but our best recommendation is to head to the highest point at the top end of the park where far fewer tourists seem to congregate and remember even in the height of summer it’s much cooler here than on the coast #voyagevibes

Along with the great natural view that is said to have inspired the filming of the Avatar movie, it is characterized by an incredibly wide trekking course. Because the lake is so cleanly managed, the water is incredibly clear and the natural scenery is overwhelming. The waterfalls that can be seen here and there are photo zones, but wherever there is sunlight, it is a great view to take a life shot. The trekking courses of the representative courses take about an hour or two without much altitude difference, so you can go without any burden. #Overseas travel

I joined a local tour from Zagreb during Golden Week. It was the longest course, so we walked for more than four hours, but the scenery was amazing no matter where you looked. It was a beautiful time of year when the new green leaves were in spring, and the colors of the water and sky were a beauty that you rarely see in Japan. We were blessed with good weather, and it was the best forest bathing. It seems that the autumn foliage season has a different charm, and if I have the opportunity, it's a place I would definitely like to visit again. By the way, this time of year was just the beginning of the high season, but there were a lot of tourists.
